Jimmy is just a little too GQ looking imo. He's the type to go to the supermarket for groceries wearing a $2,000 mink coat and a designer murse. Beathard, on the other hand, has that country charm going for him. It's all subjective though.

he's already shown that his guns take priority over his inability to throw the deep ball.

Regarding the jimmy guap preseason struggles.....
Kaepernick was lights out that one pre season where the niners went 2-14 or whatever and got benched for Gabbert.

What s**t stirring? The looks comparison is just to bring a bit of levity to a discussion that's gotten pretty heated for no real reason. I've mostly praised JG, but people here want to elevate him to Joe and Steve status after just 5 games. That's a bit ridiculous. Not only is it premature, I doubt he'll ever be as good as those 2. I could be wrong, but I just don't see him being at that level.
The fact that it is controversial to say that a QB with 5 starts won't be as good as Joe or Steve just shows how much the hype has gone overboard.

There's that strawman argument.....
Who's said he's Steve or Joe? I know I've said he's put up numbers we haven't see since the dynasty days. These are facts....28 ppg, 410 ypg, 50% on third down are Joe and Steve type levels of performance that happen for a third of a season and 100% of the snaps we witnessed of Jimmy. Factor in his limited experience in this particular flavor of WCO and stepping in for a 1-10 team and people have every right to be excited about him.
All you've done is thrown out false info (ie Jimmy did this against a weak schedule or he greatly benefited from players availability) and pumped up stuff on CJ (like his slight increase in deep ball accuracy). It's hilarious and looks like nothing more than a troll attempt by the usual suspects on this forum under a different acct name.

Where did I say that CJ was god lol? I've been pretty consistent in saying that I think JG is a good QB
and should be the starter. You can read that as a negative if you want, but only here would it be considered trolling to say that JG is merely a good QB.
Also, I don't get why it's unacceptable to be a little concerned about Jimmy's poor OTAs. We haven't seen enough to know who the real JG is yet, so each new data point is worth discussing.

Your mistake is thinking that everybody who disagrees with you thinks Jimmy is at Montana status. I think what most people have a problem with is you pretending as if CJ is as talented as Jimmy, or even that there is a possibility of a QB competition.

Jimmy was more aggressive than CJ, played a tougher schedule in both quality and home and road (Jimmy started only 2 home games, CJ started 4 of his 5 at home) and his numbers dwarfed CJ's in every way imaginable ppg, ypg, comp%, 3 Down %, QBR, Qb rating, yards per attempt, yards per completion and most importantly wins.
