how about you read what this guy is posting then talk...both your garbage assumptions based off zero facts is the only theme I'm seeing in here.

Pettis isn't "tough" because he got a lower leg injury his last game in college CJ beathard is just as good as jimmy G

You f**kers make me laugh with comments like that.

I did. No Sherman, E. Thomas, Wagner, etc. Are we really going to pretend that the Seahawks had their starters in for a couple of meaningless snaps at the end of the game?

Have we reached the point where people start making things up to try and make Jimmy G look better? If Jimmy was already the GOAT like you guys are saying, it would be self-evident, but I don't think anyone should be labeled the GOAT or be compared to greats like Montana and Young after just 4 games (Rams game doesn't really count for obvious reasons). I've said 100 times that I think Jimmy is good and our best QB, but unless I says he's the GOAT already it's not enough for you guys.

Who said he's GOAT? Find one person who didn't do it in jest. I'll wait.

It's clear as day he's got some invested interest in CJ whether it's him being a Iowa alumni/Hawkeye homer or CJ is a family friend (or some s**t) same goes for GMniner, Pettis clearly ran over his dog or pissed in his Cheerios...I'm willing to bet his not a fan of The Washington Huskies in general.

How about people put their own bias s**t aside and look at the facts CJ was poor in a couple major areas in college...pocket presence & accuracy. That s**t stayed the same this yr. could it change? Maybe. But don't pretend like that s**t didn't happen or say he improved the quality of the team overall like JG did...because he didn't and there's literally nothing to prove that he did. I think he's a quality backup and glad Kyle drafted him...you're only as good as your backup.

With Pettis, GM thinks his durability is a issue because he's not "tough"...the kid played in every single game, he had over 160 catches and 90 punt returns. You're lying to yourself if you think he didn't deal with any injuries during that time YET still played. There's nothing to prove he's not "tough" and we all know size doesn't equal durability.

Call me a homer/d******d or whatever, but please prove that what you're saying has any real validity to it. IF not people will call you out and supply facts to back it up...it's a simple as that.

I think he can with a junior ball or college sized ball. Prolly not with a man's football though.

If you haven't seen that kind of talk these last few months, then you haven't been paying attention. There's seriously people here who think he'll be the MVP this year. It's crazy.

You guys get too riled up sometimes lol. It's probably somebody's alt account here to stir s**t up during the dead of the offseason. He will be long gone once Jimmy is slicing up defenses on the regular during the season.

Right, so you name three that we all knew had or have injuries, but again you don't name who was IN the game. You act like Jimmy G. had some All-World talent on his roster. Look when Jimmy G. got into the game, he threw a TD pass to a WR who isn't even on the team anymore and who won't even be on any 53 man roster come game day.

Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that it was against the Seahawks backups. On the TD snap, the top guys on the field for the Seahawks were Wilhoite, Maxwell, and Griffin. The rest were 3rd stringers.

dude you say you don't hate jimmy g but you spend all your time proving that you do.... I don't get it . You can't have it both ways pick a side and stick to it. Getting stats to back up this or links to back up that. I Swear if this is how you show love who needs it !!!!!

I only look like a hater relative to those who think Jimmy can do no wrong. My position throughout all of this is that I think Jimmy is a good, but unproven QB, and that Beathard is also good though not as good as Jimmy. I'm not trying to diminish what JG accomplished in his 4 games against starters this year, but it should be put in perspective. He played good, albeit not perfectly, and it was impressive considering the circumstances. I don't think he's a top 5 QB or even top 10, not yet, but maybe Shanahan will get him there. Shanahan's scheme with a little bit of player talent can go a long way.
