This is what deep ball accuracy looks like, in case you've forgotten while watching JG highlights.

Looks like both QBs have their different strengths and weaknesses.

Yeah you're right he can't throw a deep ball especially with Clowney coming at him unblocked

It's too bad he overthrew him. That would have been a nice play.

Here's the thing. Jimmy's strength is a lot better than CJ and comprises over 80% of the offense (throw 20 yards and under). CJ's supposed strength is slight and under CJ only accounted for 12% of the snaps (throws over 20).

Hahaha welp you're clearly blind, Hyde slowed down that's on him, JG had him in stride while getting demolished by an unblocked Clowney.

Hyde alligator armed it and you can see it in another view here as well...

It's cool to say you're wrong about something, it's not the end of the world. CJ will forgive you man.

I think CJ has a better deep ball, but IMO that's low on the totem pole of what makes a QB good.

Right, so you name three that we all knew had or have injuries, but again you don't name who was IN the game. You act like Jimmy G. had some All-World talent on his roster. Look when Jimmy G. got into the game, he threw a TD pass to a WR who isn't even on the team anymore and who won't even be on any 53 man roster come game day.

Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that it was against the Seahawks backups. On the TD snap, the top guys on the field for the Seahawks were Wilhoite, Maxwell, and Griffin. The rest were 3rd stringers.

dude you say you don't hate jimmy g but you spend all your time proving that you do.... I don't get it . You can't have it both ways pick a side and stick to it. Getting stats to back up this or links to back up that. I Swear if this is how you show love who needs it !!!!!

I only look like a hater relative to those who think Jimmy can do no wrong. My position throughout all of this is that I think Jimmy is a good, but unproven QB, and that Beathard is also good though not as good as Jimmy. I'm not trying to diminish what JG accomplished in his 4 games against starters this year, but it should be put in perspective. He played good, albeit not perfectly, and it was impressive considering the circumstances. I don't think he's a top 5 QB or even top 10, not yet, but maybe Shanahan will get him there. Shanahan's scheme with a little bit of player talent can go a long way.

See that's the thing .... jimmy g can do wrong and will do wrong at some point ... but so will all other 32 starting quarterbacks in this league. You tend to do that when you have 290 pound defensive ends with 4.5 speed coming at you seemingly and sometimes literally unblocked. I've watched a lot of football in my time and when you see a quarterback that has it , you just know it. jimmy g has it. I would be shocked if he didn't someday barring injury lead us to a superbowl or two. I couldn't and wouldn't say that about alex smith or colin kaepernick who I happen to be a big fan of. with a QB like jimmy g, he will be the reason we get to a superbowl , I'm almost certain of it. maybe not this year but soon. it's coming ... in the meantime ...just enjoy the ride

This appears to be an exercise in futility. Jack is entitled to his clearly wrong opinion, so folks just need to stop responding to him

He's entitled to his opinion, he's not breaking any rules. Let the man speak his piece.

Agreed...If others want to disagree that's great too, but going back and forth over the same thing repeatedly is kind of derailing the thread.
