He's entitled to his opinion, he's not breaking any rules. Let the man speak his piece.

He is clearly trolling, and you agreeing with him proves it empirically. Oh, and by the way, it's speak his peace. It's pretty good comedy though. He gave himself away with his outrageous, nonsensical claims pages ago. Someone's trying to claim your class clown crown homie...
oh my god.. lets attack people but the mods allow it so its good

They're allowing him to troll, and it's obvious that he is trolling. No one in their right mind comes into a Jimmy G thread, starts throwing shade and talking up CJ Beathard, at least no one who isn't trolling. Don't start with the poor, pitiful me victim act, you've completely worn that one out.

We probably should have, but I think they were scared that they would have to pay even more for him if they waited a year since the cost of a top QB goes up every time a franchise QB signs a new deal. It's a bummer, since other than the Patriots, teams generally can't afford the talent necessary to win a Super Bowl unless their QB is on his rookie deal. I hope we haven't shot ourselves in the foot.

They basically tagged him for two yrs if you look at guaranteed money...people for the love of god stop looking at the fluff with contracts. He got $48 million in guaranteed cash. The tag is $23 million. If he balls out SF has his rights thru 2022, if he doesn't they can cut him after 2019 with minimum dead money.

It's a win for SF and a win for JG if he plays well.

Go look at his contract dude...we basically tagged him the next two yrs. if he balls out under a tag then you're looking at paying him some crazy s**t like Ryan got ($95 million guaranteed vs $48 million guaranteed) or going down a Kirk Cousins road.

If he sucks they move on after 2019 with little dead money if he balls out they have him under contact thru 2022 under a solid not mind boggling contract.

When looking at contracts it's about the guaranteed cash...a huge chunk of guaranteed cash was this yr and SF still has 3rd most cap space in the league
