They ranked Russell Wilson and Goff higher than Jimmy?
Hopefully this lights a fire under Jimmy Guaps ass.

It's like investing.
Late last year, hype was building, everyone was buying. I couldn't keep up with the superlatives.
Season ends, nothing to watch, oh well--let's go to the tape.
Much to everyone's (nobody's) surprise...Flaws!
So...he's not perfect...
...not the chosen one.
Consolidation phase begins...the fans hold...
Many people sell.
The stock drops.
Really...it played out like your average week trading cryptocurrency...

Of course defenses will learn his tendencies but the one thing we have that those teams do not is Kyle Shanahan. Not to mention Jimmy's unique skill set that is going to make him a great QB.
With that said, on Sundays all I'm going to do is kick back in my #10 jersey and crack open a cold beer and hang on for what could be a great 5-10 years of 49er football!
You can only find so many "tells" or tendencies off a single player. The film is more about studying the scheme of the team, not as much the individual players so while there hasn't been a ton of tape on Jimmy there was plenty of tape on Kyle's scheme.
The idea that Jimmy is going to be figured out because of more tape is idiotic. Tom Brady just had an MVP season at age 40. How much tape did they have on him?

Seems fair based on the current body of work. We'll see if he's still #3 at the end of this season.

What is funny is all those posters worrying about JG. This guy is the least of the 49ers worries. A franchise QB just dropped in this organizations lap. Just think back to this time last year for perspective. He and the team will have some ups and downs this year I'm sure, but he is the long term solution here. The question isn't whether he will become one of the best QB's in the league, but when. We are about to enter a very special time with this team. Stop worrying, grow some ballz and enjoy the damn journey.

I wonder what the odds are of Jimmy breaking Ben's win streak.

I agree...i have no issues with it. Honestly wouldn't even bother me if they had him #4. The sample size is too small to say anything for sure.
I'm confident he'll be #2 at worst by end of the season.
I am curious how Wilson does without Darrell Bevell. I feel like Seahawk fans underrated how well he worked with Wilson's strengths.

Not great unless we magically get the #1 overall defense in the league like he had.

Considering Kam and all the injuries they had on defense, I'm just curious how long Midget will last in the season passing all the time because they are behind.

There shouldn't be an issue with ranking Goff & Russ ahead of Jimmy as of right now. Jimmy has to increase his sample size, 7 games isn't enough

We all should be lucky enough to stand in line to sample Jimmy's size.
