This is my favorite play by Jimmy Garoppolo this year and it was an incompletion. Oline let Clowney come free on a delayed blitz but Jimmy stays in the pocket and takes a killer hit. Look how calmly he delivers that ball under pressure. You normally only see that with a 5-7 year vet. That last tick tock is reserved for delivering a good accurate throw. Only 2 games experience but he operate in the pocket like vet.

No doubt, people are gonna throw a fit because he might not go for 1k in rushing yards this yr but what he brings in the passing game is so valuable for Kyle's scheme.

As to the breakdown, it's quite remarkable to see him deliver under serious duress and knowing he's going to get smashed. It looks like he's taken training on how to eliminate direct hits or how to minimize them.
