As to the breakdown, it's quite remarkable to see him deliver under serious duress and knowing he's going to get smashed. It looks like he's taken training on how to eliminate direct hits or how to minimize them.

A lot of times immediately after he delivers a throw he gives the defender his back so he doesn't get his ribs smashed.
Good video.
The man love for Jimmy in that vid— I was blushing and embarrassed

This may have been posted...OL was bad and hard to watch but it just makes what JG do all the more impressive.

Nice selection of clips. Not sure about the youtubers expertise though. But I appreciate the effort.

Exactly...like trying to tackle a spinning RB, where the hit point is so thin.

No doubt, people are gonna throw a fit because he might not go for 1k in rushing yards this yr but what he brings in the passing game is so valuable for Kyle's scheme.

That's why I had him in my first mock offseason way back because I thought he fit so well with what we do. You're right he probably won't get 1000 rushing but all purpose I bet he is up there for sure

I'm gonna assume this is about jerrick lol but I do think he can break 1000 yards depending on the performance of the other rbs, but if he gets like 800 rushing yards and 500-600 receiving yards ill take that also.

He tends to struggle in the early part of the season for whatever reason and starts turning it up mid October. If that trend continues then it bodes well for the 49ers.
Add to that a new scheme and new players and I see him losing a ton of games while developing chemistry.
So I watched a few of Jimmy's pressers from back in his NE days, and training camp reports.

The common theme seems to be that Jimmy tends to struggle in practice from time to time and then kills it during games.

We might just have to get used to that, it appears Jimmy uses practice for trying out new things, not to go 14/15.

but he hasn't struggled in practice so far. 1 day out 2 weeks is not struggling or is it ?

My point is that if and when he does, fans dont need to freak out. He did it in NE so its all good.
