Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Los Angeles Rams

I saw someone call Jimmy a game manager at this point.

I can understand people not being sold on Jimmy as a top tier QB yet...but game manager? WTF?

Jimmy G looked more aggressive and forced throws in there. You need that to win a ship.

That's probably why he threw the same amount of interceptions in 5 games as Alex threw all season (19 fewer TDs though).

Could be a few other factors why jimmy g and CJ threw that many picks......

But hey, hopefully jimmy can win us a game this year..

In Alex's which season in the NFL? How did his career start again?

Yeah QBs that just play soft and put the weight on their teammates to play perfectly tend to have their int numbers low.
Alex Smith and Jimmy G are very very different QBs lol anyone with eyes can see that.

You also dont have to put a qb down to prove someone else is good. Alex has grown into a good quarterback in this league but personally I think Jimmy will be in the A. Rodgers catagory type player.

Far too early to compare JG with top QBs in the league. He played very well last year. Let's see how he performs over an entire season, and then make an informed judgment.

Alex is a good QB, but he's no gunslinger like Jimmy. I still remember the throw in one of the games (bears game?) where he threw into triple coverage. Alex could never make a throw like that.

That's the only rational way to look at it - let things play out.
