If Kyle can draft an elite pass rusher in the neighborhood of a Fred Dean/Haley/Aldon when he was sane - I think Jimmy can tie or exceed Tom's record of super bowl wins. I think Jimmy's more physically talented than Brady in his prime. I think his release is just as quick as Brady and I think his arm is stronger. I may be biased, but what the heck, this is a 49er fanatic site.

Brady has a stronger arm...but thats because of Jimmys superior release speed that takes away from his velocity.

When you think about Brady coming into the NFL, and then you look at a pretty polished Qb just starting,...well, it's hard not to think along these lines.

Unh...one other thing...remember it isn't just jimmy, it is Jimmy AND Kyle....big difference. Huge difference. Whatever jimmy's talent is, it is going to be magnified like nobody can imagine with kyle….that is the kicker...and it is a huge one. Brady didn't have that advantage when he came in. Jimmy does.

These dumb ass, unimportant stories will be the norm with an elite QB like Garoppolo. Just the way it goes.

A lot of unknowns and variables to play out still but it seems more and more as though whatever was going on in New England that allowed the Niners to get Jimmy G. for a 2nd round pick is going to change the prospects of this franchise for the next decade. Assuming Lynch and Shanahan stay on that long. Have to admit that I am REALLY curious to see how the team performs this year and to see if some of the young guys like Bourne, Kittle, Colbert, Witherspoon, Taylor, Foster, and Thomas can make the kind of significant jumps that people say often happens with players between their first and second year. If they do and Garoppolo gets more comfortable within the offense, watch out!
