They dodged a bullet on McCarron. A rare time where incompetence pays off.

This. A 2nd and 3rd for AJ?

For real. Browns were definitely trying to get AJ M.

The key there is that we got a better QB for almost half that price.

I just want J.Garoppolo should work out his shoulder gain make strong. But I get what jcs said about Rodgers and Luck got injured his shoulder too. I finally remembered it. Lol

playing behind our o line this year will not help his shoulder. maybe best set him and let cj or some other scrub take the hits. take the moral victorys . finish 0-16 trade the number one pick for a bunch of picks and move forward

Bingo. BeatHard gets more real game experience, the coaching staff continues to get snaps for players for evaluation and we secure the #1 or #2 draft position. JG gets an early 9 weeks to study plus a full off season to learn and in the interim, sign him to a LT deal. Use the off season to bolster the roster via free agency and the draft.

Hit the ground running week 1.

That said, I could understand wanting to get the new toy some looks and experience but getting pounded probably isn't the experience you want to give him.

Set him up for success like Kyle said.

I agree with alot of this. I think he plays a few games tho. Beneficial for him and us tbh.

Yes I know. I am thinking about hire for coach offensive lines name is Frank Pollack from cowboys. He teach them the block and protect our quartback. They are very good. Right?!

Then we should sign their at Practice Squad from OT and G by Jones Jarron OT and Edward Kaden G (Guard). We should sign them now then get better gain our offensive lines.

Example. Seahawks alway sign my ex players defense because our defense was a great. Right. Then we must sign to Jones Jarrod OT and Edward Kaden G. I know the Cowboys Offensive Lines are a great..

Super excited for this move but let's pray Jimmy G doesn't turn into another Flynn, Cassel, Osweiler

i am more worried about the line wide outs and running back behind him than anything else. right now i think he is a diamond or possible potential hopeful diamond amongst a pile of trash. hopefully said trash gets taken out to curb and replaced by better things. he also brings a winning culture to this team which is sorely needed

Yeah i told you that before we even got Jimmy. If o-line isn't priority one this offseason I'll put Lynch and Kyle on a space x rocket the f**k outta here!

Probably and I'm sure he's itching to get in as well.

Love this!

Earlier, Garoppolo was finishing his media duties at the stadium—which is adjacent to the Niners' office and practice facility—and asked the team's VP of communications, Bob Lange, "Is there somewhere I can go so I can see the field?" Lange took him to a good vantage point, and Garoppolo stared out at the field for a full 20 seconds or so. This was his field now, and, barring an upset, the Niners would be his team. Finally, after sitting behind an all-time great, Garoppolo knows this is his time. He took time to soak it in. He's a mature kid. He knows this team is miles away from being good. But he's been an heir for four seasons. Now he'll get to be the man … and oddly, he'll be the man on the team Tom Brady worshiped as a kid. Heck of a story. ~ MMQB

lol I don't believe that for a second. Palmer is injured, and about to retire, all they have is Drew Stanton and Blaine Gabbert, and theyre trying to say theyre ok with the future QB situation? BS.

lol., i know its not sexy but i hope the team trades the first round pick and with our first pick i would be ok with the best center tackle guard in the country.

I know! its so boring but everyone knows a monster o-line makes a football team.
Now if we get a good guard and center in FA then draft Barkley....... I can dream.

Yeah I call BS he's just trying to be PC about it. Honestly from the sounds of it BIll contacted lynch and they made the deal...doesn't sound like they wanted to deal with anyone else or try to push up the value in a bidding war
