He has had two different kinds of season ending injuries in seasons in which he did not complete. True or false?

Let's be clear, while JG has shown to have tremendous talent, he has yet to show consistency and the ability to finish an entire season healthy.

BTW, what has been done to protect him better than he was protected last year?

Didn't he finish 2017 season after starting more than 1 game?

He played and completed 5 games in 2017.

He in fact did not start and finish the season in 2017.

Furthermore, if you take those 5 starts and combine them with his starts from last season and his starts from filling in for the injured Tom Brady, it does not add up to an entire regular season of football, let alone a playoff season of football.

Not a gambler, but I'd like to know the odds of a guy getting 3 NFL seasons of starting opportunities and not being able to play a full 16 game schedule?

Strawman argument. He only had the opportunity to play one full season and that was last season. His first attempts were in relief of Brady for deflate gate and the last 7 games of 2017. So technically, this past season was the only season he couldn't finish due to an injury. He would have been back on the bench when Brady came back. But if you consider not being able to play 2 out of 4 games "season-ending", then I can say that the 7 games he finished in 2017 was a "full season".

Sure you could say that if an NFL regular season was 7 games, unfortunately it's 16 games and hopefully at least 3 playoff games.

The facts remain, JG has not played 16 consecutive regular season games and has had two injuries that were/can be categorized as season ending in his short NFL career.

It's definitely worth concern, especially consider (as of today) we haven't done anything to strengthen our OL.

Please elaborate on which team he had the opportunity to start, AND FINISH, 3 seasons.

One season isn't a trend, so what you're saying in meaningless.

If anything, everyone should be overly worried that he hasn't shown the ability to avoid injury and then combine that with with onslaught of INTs over his past several games and there's more than just a little reason for concern.

Not saying he's done by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd be far from shocked if he doesn't play all 16 games this season.

A little worried. But not as worried as I would be of a guy like Watson. Watson needs his legs to maximize his production and he's already torn both in non contact injuries.

Jimmy g had that injury from Kiko's b******t tackle that would've sent any QB to IR. Slammed him with full pressure on the shoulder.

I see his last injury as a dumb decision of trying to make something out of nothing and running carelessly like a maniac then his ACL gave out. He's a smart guy so I'm assuming he won't risk another year of his career by playing like that. With experience he hopefully will learn it's ok to throw the ball away. Trust the internal clock like all great QBs have done. He was taking some hard hits last season because of holding on to the ball way too long, waiting for a receiver to get open. He's definitely not fragile, he's proven that. But he for sure was careless with his body.

You're missing the fact that he has only had one season where he was designated the starter in week 1 with the expectation he would be the starter in week 16 and beyond.

While everyone would agree he has had some injuries your argument about never finishing a season out of all his opportunities doesn't hold water because he literally hasn't had more than one opportunity.

Lol, you can spin it any way you'd like, but the facts are quite very simple......

JG over his NFL career has not even started 16 games and completed 16 consecutive games and has sustained 2 major injuries.

JG quality of play over the past half of his games started has dropped considerably compared to the first half of games played and the OL that he struggled behind last year has not been improved as of yet.

So to think or act like he is just going to show up and everything is going be right on track is laughable at best.

Not sure how anyone could be "not worried in the slightest" when JG hasn't ever even played a half season of football (NFL) without being hurt with season ending injuries. Let's not spread false narratives here. He only had 1 season-ending injury, a freak injury that has happened to many players. He was doing just fine the previous 7 games taking shots left and right due to the spotty o-line play. Nobody was calling him "injury-prone" then.

False narrative?

He has never played a full season. True or false?

Yes, false narrative. As I explained earlier, he's only had 1, season-ending injury. 2016's injury was NOT a season-ending injury btw. Everything else you mentioned was not relevant to the point I was making.

Yes, it is a false narrative.
Why? Because it's bending facts around a narrative and not the narrative around facts.

His shoulder injury in September of 2016 kept him out for about 3 weeks but by the time he came back Brady had finished his suspension. It wasn't "season ending". That's a severe misrepresentation. He was active for the rest of the games that year and served in his normal backup role.

"he has never played a full season" He's only had one season of opportunity to play a full season. Don't know if you know, but all the other seasons he had a little known guy named Tom Brady playing in front of him.

The facts are: He's only had one major injury since playing in the NFL, that's a torn ACL that wasn't the result of contact. That's a freak accident and thing.

Really? How so?
In his last 2 games his stats are:
68% completion
457 yards
4 TD's 0 INT's
116.4 passer rating

Considerably? Child please.....
