This

Not sure how anyone could be "not worried in the slightest" when JG hasn't ever even played a half season of football (NFL) without being hurt with season ending injuries. If anything, everyone should be overly worried that he hasn't shown the ability to avoid injury and then combine that with with onslaught of INTs over his past several games and there's more than just a little reason for concern.

Not saying he's done by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd be far from shocked if he doesn't play all 16 games this season.

Excellent post and I agree. And let's add to this our injuries across the O-Line.... & our QB's got rocked during pass protect all year, and that was before all the injuries and surgeries.

Yea I'm concerned

In his last 2 games his stats are:
68% completion
457 yards
4 TD's 0 INT's
116.4 passer rating

Considerably? Child please.....

Just curious as to why you left out the 2 previous games where he was 3 TD 5INTS?

Lol, convenient timeline. As the original post states, take the first half and second half of his combined 9 starts.

Child please? Come on, be better than that.

The Minnesota game was a major outlier. 45% comp(15 of 33), 1 TD, 3 INT's. I was talking about the last 2 games where the numbers are already stated because you were making it sound like he's been on a steady downhill trajectory. When, in fact, he had a couple bad throws in the last game of the year against the Rams and then the whole offense crapped a brick against Minn. Then, we don't have complete game data vs the Chiefs as he didn't finish the game.

Also, if you can't take a Chad Johnson quip as just being funny..... child please.....

You're missing the fact that he has only had one season where he was designated the starter in week 1 with the expectation he would be the starter in week 16 and beyond.

While everyone would agree he has had some injuries your argument about never finishing a season out of all his opportunities doesn't hold water because he literally hasn't had more than one opportunity.

Lol, you can spin it any way you'd like, but the facts are quite very simple......

JG over his NFL career has not even started 16 games and completed 16 consecutive games and has sustained 2 major injuries.

JG quality of play over the past half of his games started has dropped considerably compared to the first half of games played and the OL that he struggled behind last year has not been improved as of yet.

So to think or act like he is just going to show up and everything is going be right on track is laughable at best.

The only one spinning things here is you man. As I and many others have said, there's only one season you can point to where he's had a chance to play in 16 consecutive games and he suffered a season ending injury. That is not a trend, it's football. Stuff happens.
JIMMY!!!!!! CANT WAIT TO HAVE HIM BACK

Not entirely true at all. I've seen a guy with the same past injury drop back and boom pop and it's torn again.

I expect him to play much smarter but being a pocket passer doesn't mean at all he can't re injury his ACL. He's still in a position even as a Pocket passer that requires changing of direction with your footwork constantly (not like a RB). Obviously the more cuts the worse. But still you have to plant on that leg, power drive, etc. you still need to avoid the rush.

I fully understand ACL's are not career killers like they were back in the day. I know it's more of a what if but it's a valid what If IMO.

I read an article back when I was getting my Achilles surgery this year and I recall it stated the average NFL players that tore an ACL saw their performance drop to below average. Unless your AP lol who is just a freak.
