I'm happy with the contract. It felt like a fortune at the time, but now after seeing what Wilson got and what the new contracts are going to demand, it's a good deal.
Even if JG isn't Brady, Brees, or Rogers, that's fine too, I just want him to be consistently top 10 (top 5-7 range would be awesome) and also stay healthy.
That's going to require management and coaching staff to make sure they're doing everything they can to keep him healthy. I get that his latest injury wasn't a typical injury, but unfortunately that doesn't matter. If he's not suited up for 16-19 games every season, then he's not living up to his contract and worse, we won't be winning as many games.
