It pains me to even type this, but when a guy like Russel Wilson can play his entire career to this point without missing a single game especially with his playing style and lesser Olines.

Being a franchise QB is simple, you either are, or you're not. You either make the plays that win the games that give your teams tiles or you come up just short. You either miss games due to injury or you don't. Right now unfortunately JG is on the wrong side of a black and white storyline.

I hope he shows up on time and shows that he can actually play an entire season without injury.

What is it about trolling that you enjoy?

Trolling? sorry that the truth hurts your feelings, it's not trolling at all.

Prob just being overly conservative
Kamleon has a good point, as much as I hate RW and think that he is the biggest cuck of any professional athlete I've ever seen, he is exactly what you look for in a franchise QB. He's durable and he makes everyone around him better.

Jimmy G needs to be able to stay healthy before he can become a franchise QB. He has not been able to do that yet but I still believe in him and this system will help him achieve that.

Didn't Jerry go out and play only to reinjure it because he'd rushed back? I seem to remember that.

Let's see....week1

He played against the best defense in the league against Minnesota one interception was the receivers fault, the other was basically a Hail Mary with less than a minute left, and one of them was his fault. Not to mention three players from the line were injured and many more reshuffled, goodwin was injured and did I mention he was playing against the best defense at the time, their home opener. He was pressured almost every play and that td throw was utterly ridiculous. If we didn't fumble at the 1 dam yardline and so on it would of been a great game. D sucked (see Solomon Thomas offsides on 4th and 1)

Week 2

Made quick work of Detroit very good game. Took a few coverage sacks and Detroit's defense was good enough to whip Brady and gave Rodgers some fits. That in the threw at the end of the game was NOT game over. We had 2 timeouts and I believe the 2:00 warning and jimmy could of easily drove down for the win.

Week 3

Tore up kcs defense and this was being constantly pressured. Almost brought us back and did I mention it was kcs home opener??? Best pass rush too.

Hope that clears up all the jimmy g didn't do well his first 3 games

Good stuff bro.

This was in response to a Russell Wilson fan. These guys are all over our site unfortunately.

Thanks JT I thought it was obvious but when people said jg struggled or regressed I just laugh bc people obviously didn't consider the opponents missed assignments or injuries.

Would you be upset if you came home and your girlfriend or wife was banging Jimmy G?
I would put on my apron and ask Jimmy what toppings he wants on his pancakes and make sure the wifey stays hydrated.

This sir is the correct answer.

Funny how we have two extremes on Jimmy G:

"He ain't better than Mullens..........injury proneeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!"

"If he wanted to bang my wife, I'd do everything in my power to enable it and keep both of them happy"

Damn Niners fans

what if he swings the other way.

A true fan does whatever it takes

I'm so in 😛 the ghey for Jimmy g spot club! I'll take one for the team

I also have to commend all of you that are throwing in these completely hilarious quips about Jimmy G. If he even knew the ghey following he had he would probably s**t his pants

I wasn't a fan of the long term deal at first although I didn't hate it either. Just didn't think the 6 games was enough of a sample size. I was in the camp of franchise tagging him for a season to see what we really had.

The beginning of last year kinda reinforced my position even though I didn't think he was playing that bad, the whole team just sucked to be honest. I mean this is the year for him, no excuses and I believe their is an out clause in the contract somewhere down the road but I'm not really up to date on that.

I think he'll be fine though. He doesn't have to be #16, but he does have to win more than he loses.

Don't worry. You're considered a troll on the webzone if you have a different opinion than the rest of the board. Don't feed the homers and you'll be fine.

(btw, i agree with you wholeheartedly.)
You guys are getting your panties in a bunch worrying about jimmy not being back for week 1. I'm definitely sure he'll be back by week 1 and I bet he gets some reps during preseason too along with McKinnon.
I wouldn't say he needs to prove he can stay healthy since he has only had one injury since becoming a starter. That can happen to anyone. People recover from the same type of injury at different speeds and there are also differences in the severity of the injury so I'm not concerned that it's taking him longer. That said, I'm still not convinced 100% that he's going to be the guy that takes us to the SB. I like what I've seen but I just haven't seen enough. Hopefully he gets to play a full season this year and we can form a better opinion.

Considering the number of ACL injuries in the league and the recovery times players go through, yes you must be. Rice came back in 14 weeks, Adrian Peterson came back in 9 months, Tom Brady came back a year later... no two players bodies heal at the same rate.

Rice himself regrets coming back as he has said he rushed back and should not have.

Jimmy should not play until Jimmy feels physically ready to play, if that is week one great and if he needs more time then take more time. No need to risk anything, health comes first.

Alex/Kap took us to the Super Bowl.
I'm sure on a properly constructed team, Jimmy has the goods to do so as well.
His floor is pretty high.
His ceiling is what we can question all day until he proves it out.

Excellent call evil!
part of JG's problem last year was a porous OL - especially in the interior.

BTW, we still have that problem.

If were facing Donald, sure. However it should be good enough for now.
