Considering the number of ACL injuries in the league and the recovery times players go through, yes you must be. Rice came back in 14 weeks, Adrian Peterson came back in 9 months, Tom Brady came back a year later... no two players bodies heal at the same rate.

Rice himself regrets coming back as he has said he rushed back and should not have.

Jimmy should not play until Jimmy feels physically ready to play, if that is week one great and if he needs more time then take more time. No need to risk anything, health comes first.

What I keep in mind with Jimmy recovering from this ACL tear is Tom Brady had the same injury once in his career, and that was about 11 years ago when the surgery and rehab was less advanced. Back then he was already 31, four years older than Jimmy is now and Brady hasn't experienced an ACL problem ever since. So there is that.

BTW, we still have that problem.

Thank you very much! Seriously, why that wasn't the very first thing we fixed to this point, is more confusing than a post from Buzz!!

At least he's comfortable throwing off his back leg, I hope that's not the acl leg

Kamleon has a good point, as much as I hate RW and think that he is the biggest cuck of any professional athlete I've ever seen, he is exactly what you look for in a franchise QB. He's durable and he makes everyone around him better.

Jimmy G needs to be able to stay healthy before he can become a franchise QB. He has not been able to do that yet but I still believe in him and this system will help him achieve that.

Where does that line start, I wouldn't mind giving Ciara the best 3 min ride of her life!!

12 months to recover from an injury that Jerry Rice recovered from in the same season? Sorry, but I just do t trust JG as far as health goes.

It pains me to even type this, but when a guy like Russel Wilson can play his entire career to this point without missing a single game especially with his playing style and lesser Olines.

Being a franchise QB is simple, you either are, or you're not. You either make the plays that win the games that give your teams tiles or you come up just short. You either miss games due to injury or you don't. Right now unfortunately JG is on the wrong side of a black and white storyline.

I hope he shows up on time and shows that he can actually play an entire season without injury.

Didn't Jerry go out and play only to reinjure it because he'd rushed back? I seem to remember that.

Fractured his knee cap, nothing to do with his previous knee injury. That's back when real men played football though, not these over paid, media sluts of today's game.

I can accept the fact that all players are different and that's a good point, I guess it's just the facts that....

1. Our success hinges on him being that QB we saw in his first 5 games.
2. His contract status puts more pressure on him to succeed.
3. He's seemed to hit a couple rough spots with TD/INT ratio his past 5 games.
4. He hasn't shown that he can make it through an entire NFL season and stay healthy yet.

I guess most of all, we all want JG to be the face of the franchise and that franchise QB that we haven't had in so many years, so the more chinks that he shows in his armor, the more doubt that gets cast on him.
Hopefully this is the year that injuries aren't the excuse that we have to suffer through again and we finally turn the corner.

I agree, but the receivers lack of separation was also a big issue why Jimmy G. was sacked quite a bit.

Don't worry. You're considered a troll on the webzone if you have a different opinion than the rest of the board. Don't feed the homers and you'll be fine.

(btw, i agree with you wholeheartedly.)

Now you just need Sus and itll be a party.

The hilarity of a troll telling another troll not to "feed the homers".

Ummm, actually there's a huge difference between calling out issues that should be fixed compared to actually being happy when your "supposed" team loses or being outraged when they win, I.E. The Seattle win.

I'll gladly eat crow if I'm wrong on an oppinion and be the first to admit it, but you can bet anything I won't be in here celebrating losses like the real trolls.
