new flash; any time trump has uttered "fake news" it's referenced any free press and media period.
Newsflash, the press that you thought was free has never been free. Ever since the Civil War, outlets such as AP have had political patsies spreading hate and division. They're whores and their currency is access to stories and black tie galas where they give themselves pats on the back for a job well done. All while their political puppet masters applaud.
If you want news that hasn't been tainted by U.S. politics, watch foreign news. They don't have a dog in the hunt and just report the facts.

Newsflash; the "free press" that is protected by the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, is what Trump ALWAYS refers to when he blabbers the s**t he spews out of his mouth regarding "fake news" lol
And people think i derail threads with nonsense. to me. jimmy better get a little pre season work in. sure he could get hurt in a pre season game. he could also get hurt falling down the stairs. unlike some. i believe pre season . even for vets does serve a purpose. even if its against guys who will be working at taco tico next week, jimmy needs to get a little work in a game before the bullets starts to fly for real
Sh*t, here we go again.

Who's crowning him?
on the day we got him. he was crowned as our franchise qb for the next 15 years. so far we have seen a small sample two years ago. then he got hurt. and the people who legit worry that he does seem to come up with an injury every year he has played should not be be pooh poohed.. and esp since our offensive. offensive line is the same as it was last year should give pause to everyone running around predicting 10 to 11 wins. oh and do not even say.. who is predicting 11 wins. cuz you know they are out there. i like jimmy. i think he will be our franchise qb. we all need to hope he can come back and not get hurt again. the thought of that happening or the thought that maybe he is not who we think he is. should be terrifying to all niner fans

so f**king dramatic lol
sorry, but without jimmy. nick and cj will not lead us back to the top of the division

No slack needed. He didn't due anything wrong. He's allowed to have opinions about music and public figures that are contrary to the fake news media. Fake news is news designed to perpetuate a narrative. I'm glad Jimmy did the right thing and didn't perpetuate that narrative.

This is the same media that anointed Michael Sam. They have an agenda. They don't care about sports. The first question out of that enemy of the American people, fake news artist, was not about football but some posts by a 16 year old kid, hoping that Jimmy would slip up and say something that would resurrect a dead story.

That's why they're called "fake news".

Let's keep it football. Any mention of politics or civil rights can quickly derail the thread.

that's the only thing I agree with. Jimmy's response and how in that interview with him is an example of how incessantly trash the media can be. that agenda with the questioning. I can't stand Trump, however, even with the knowledge of what Bosa had said in the past I didn't give a f**k. As long as he's a good teammate (like what Jimmy said), starts, stays healthy, makes plays, that's all I care about.

You can't have a normal conversation about sports with a CNN watcher before the TDS comes out. I wouldn't be surprised if they put a white hood on Jimmy for not "denouncing" Nick Bosa.

yeah then you'd still say it's kyle shanahan's fault
Oh god, just label every thread 'politics free' already.

I'd vote for Jimmy!
I've already had to stop watching the Bosa thread. Please don't ruin this one too. This is my quarterback.

I'm probably more homer than not and I certainly see no blame on your part.

Oh, I just realized I posted right after you had posted where you didn't say anything political at all - just musing about how attitudes about derailing a thread seem to be inconsistent sometimes. I must have been writing my post as you were posting - I didn't see yours.
