It would have been nice if there had been something else , anything else...the headline turned out to be just some goofball wistful , maybe even wishful , thinking. No, not thinkinng, just psycho babble, with zero to back it up. The headline turned out to be all there was. That 's CAB. Cheap azz b.s. ...nothing more. What a waste of time.

I think, Florio just graduated into the Cohn class. Congratulations. Won't be reading you either.

The assumption is that if garoppolo plays bad, minnesota would want him...

Also, why would we want cousins if he sucked that bad in Minnesota?

The assumption is that Shanahan always liked Cousins and would believe that he could succeed in his system.

The speculation is pretty baseless. Obviously if Jimmy plays poorly this year, there is a chance we would move on, but there's no reason to think he will. The more likely scenario is him getting injured again and us moving on because of that.

Does anybody think JG will play poorly? He could struggle because of OL play and if our WRs can't get open again. But I wouldn't blame JG for that, I doubt Kyle would either. Imo, JG makes the right decision way more often than not, and his arm talent jumps off the TV screen. Dude is a stud.

My only worry is his health; he hasn't played anything remotely close to a full NFL season in his career. I have zero concerns about his ability; if he can remain healthy he's going to be dynamite.

That's fair. My only concern as well.

of course anything could happen. but i'd put my money on jimmy having a great year, especially with our improved talent across the board.
Kirk Cousins lol

I'd rather have Mullens. Quicker decision maker. Same moxie with out going retard with the turnovers.

Florio can actually write but he's the biggest hater in the media by far. Literally every 49er piece he has done has been negative. f**k that guy.
Jimmys skills at playing QB shouldn't be a question and anyone who does doesn't know what they're talking about....

The only concern is if he can stay healthy and so far he hasn't

When he injured his shoulder/collar bone in NE, that was his first major injury he's ever really had. When he tore his acl it was a damn near fluke injury, it was on grass and he was untouched..

Hopefully he doesn't suffer bad luck again this year

Indeed. I'm not worried about the injuries however. I am concerned about him being banged up over time though because of pass protection, but other than that, I have no worries about Jimmy G being anything less than spectacular.

They always say it is fluke injuries for those players that are always injured.

Until JG can play a full injury free season people will have their doubts. If he gets injured again then it's time to move on. The greatest asset is availability.

How dare you even think about trading GQ? This is the QB with highest ceiling and hand picked by Lynch with blessing Paraag to lead this franchise to the promised land.

Jimmy stays, and in fact deserve a contract extension, right now.

The guy we must trade is Mullen, he is making Jimmy uncomfortable by breathing down his neck.

You're blaming the coach for a player's freak injury (that hasn't ended his career, btw)?

Hoookay
