Jimmy had a solid showing today.

The one problem I still see with him is his trust in all his recievers being the same. I've talked about this in the Pettis thread because he throws these risky passes up for grabs to guys who aren't known to go up and get those types of balls. It's one thing to do that with Kittle, Deebo or Hurd, but Jimmy does this with Pettis, Goodwin and everyone else who will most likely fail at securing the catch or even prevent the defender from coming down with it.

Shanny really needs to get in his ear about this asap and stop blaming the recievers and their toughness.

So what was that about Jimmy and his 6 passes last week?

they all went for 0 yards.
I think we can stop worrying about J. G. now.

Worry about me instead!

Sorry, I've got too much else to worry about

But the collective Jimmy G brain fart that the entire NFL was experiencing the last week can now be put to bed and we can get ready for real NFL!

Stop? Who started over his first preseason game after over a year. Those people are silly.

This was the best game for Jimmy to get his mojo back, cause it's against the same team that robbed his 2018 season. Nobody can question Jimmy's confidence, he looked straight up like the Jags game there.

I think everyone expects every play to be perfect but that's not how it works. Things happen such as miscommunication, receivers not getting open etc.
I think we all know what jimmy can do especially when Kyle schemes things up.

The worst players are the ones that make a bad play and then it just spirals out of control. They are unable to pick themselves up and move forward.

All players at one point of time do something wrong, but its the greats that use it to make themselves better.

You Said it perfectly. Also we have to remember the season is long and defenses are usually ahead of offenses until about week 6 or so. Mid season football is way different than week one. The teams who can grind out wins are the ones who are most successful. Also those 10 play drives will be killer as the season goes on.
So jimmy is good again. Nice

Maybe Shanny told him to do it.

Good showing by Jimmy, the accuracy was still a little off.

Only on the first drive

There were still a few throws that were slightly behind receivers on the other drives. I'm not worried about it, it's just rust.
People sure did overreact over 6 preseason passes lol. Not that this performance means he's going to be a top-5 or top-10 QB this season, but maybe it'll convince a few people to come down off the ledge for a little bit.
Played ok but still off on some throws. Better than last time tho.
