sadly at the end of the day Winston has more starts under his belt. So I'd can see why he trust winston more.

More starts, but he's been consistently inconsistent in those starts since he's been in the league. Garoppolo might not have that many NFL starts, but he's been either good or great in almost all of them.

Just going by last year, Jimmy didn't play well the first two games and didn't play well until 2nd half of 3rd game... so its not like he was throwing 400 yards 5 tds every game. Consistently jimmy G hasn't been able to stay healthy so theres that too if you're gonna bring up consistency. I think Jimmy has way more potential to be great, but I think he still needs more starts under his belt. He will play good this week, but I don't think hes gonna have a 300-400 yard game with 4 tds.
