Their interior Oline is ass. That's the problem

Garnett was gettin tossed and Bourne should have caught that ball it was in his hands i dont know what they saw in him over matthews. James and Deebo should have gotten more opportunities. Jimmy will be alright though he was off and that was a dumb pick 6 but i think he'll be ok the team dont help with all the penalties. That first down run in the 4th would have been clutch and if kittle gets to keep those 2 TD's jimmys confidence would have been up.

.......

its like he was invisible out there

🤣🤣🤣

WHole post was headscratching tbh.

Garnett was the best player today.

Agree. For the most part, he still looked rusty and off a smidge. Other than the pick 6, he looks ok but isn't to where he was in 2017. He looks like he's still thinking just a tad too much out there, but for the most part he avoided making too many mistakes. I'd give it half a season before he looks back to his old form. The OLine should get better as they get more and more reps together and stay healthy. Overall, it was a win, thanks to the defense more than the offense - ironically.

He knows BDN is waiting behind him.
I am interested to see the All22. I have a sneaky suspicion we are going to see a plethora of wide open targets that didnt get the ball thrown their way.

he woulda had much better numbers had he just hit the guys he actually threw to

Stay healthy and get those wins. I think by week 8 he will be better conditioned and confidence will be back. He definitely wasn't himself when he got flushed out of the pocket.

And if we didn't get some of those TDs called back.

I think if you look at the All-22 you're going to see some receivers struggling to create separation.

Could woulda shoulda. If that late off the ball holding flag at the end of the game vs Detroit last year hadn't called back that INT Jimmy would have been 0-3 last year.
Will be fine guys. Just game1. Didnt like that pick six. Why would yo even call that play.

To do what? Lead us to about 2 or 3 wins? Nick Mullens is a pure backup, not this super-sayian savior some of you are making him out to be. He has a great mind, but average tools (arm, physical traits, etc.). If he happens to be playing at all this year, let's hope we pick in the top 5 again for our sake.

You keep bringing up that meaningless play. Guess what, it was a penalty that was called correctly, regardless of the outcome of the play. How about we wait a few more games before proclaiming our hate for Jimmy as the franchise QB.
Damn this dude looked like s**t. Shaun Hill level arm strength. Dudes were wide open. He looked like Kap.

Step up, Jimmy and do it fast
Funny how many times Mullens is being brought up as if he was the next Garrapolo, ie: back up just waiting to take over as a starter and surefire star. 13 to 10 TD/Int ratio that got to look much better with a TE that is a monster at yards after the catch. Great back up to have but has given the zone Tolzein syndrome.
Jimmy G looked horrendous. He made one good throw to Richie James who is a tremendous upgrade from Trent Taylor (please stay hurt). Kyle has not confidence in Jimmy. It's a JV offense

Jimmy just needs his confidence back. Anyone remember when he finished his first season with the niners after being traded here? He would come out of the tunnels with a entourage blaring a boom box and looking confident as f**k
