true, but I hope he doesn't need to throw a pick 6 to wake him up and play better every week.

He's got that Brett Favre mindset.

A stronger run game would help. I got the impression that Tampa pretty much ignored the run game the first half and went after Jimmy. They were throwing blitzes at him from everywhere - that will lead to some inconsistent play, until you get used to it. It took him a bit, but then he burned the Bowles defense with the Richie TD. I think Breida and Mostert will be a stronger RB pair than Colman and Breida. Mostert has some unreal speed, and if I'm Kyle I'd take advantage of that with the outside ZBS against the Bungles.

That or he's just completely apathetic while counting his $137,000,000.

Did he really bounce back though? He played terrible all game long.

Hey, counting his $$$ is great hand-eye coordination exercise! Great for developing a QB!
We got the W. He didn't look great, but this is his first real live action in 11 months.

Not crying. Have a different opinion. Garoppolo looked like s**t and there is no way around it. You can't handle it, log off and go to sleep. Have some milk and cookies

Milk and cookies sounds so good right now

But yeah, Jimmy looked horrendous today. No real way around that. I am chalking it up to a year off though, and am excited to see what next week brings.

It's all true, no need for the rose colored glasses, he played s**tty today. Even his ball placement on the completions was off and all over the place. Good thing is we won though. He plays like this the next couple of games then I'll worry, until then relax

He played pretty much how I expected. He's coming back from an ACL tear.

I didn't expect the D to play like that though. Lots of turnovers.

He just needs to keep playing football - he's been out for a while. Just got to keep plugging along - then it'll all come together.

He had two TDs called back. His performance would have been viewed quite differently if they dont get called back.
