Niners front office took advantage of the Patriots!

No doubt we got a steal with Garoppolo. Kyle Shanahan's scheme, play design and play calling are elite. Jimmy's foot work, release and accuracy are elite. When they are working together in perfect harmony, they are almost unstoppable. I was too young to really remember Montana and Walsh but from all of the videos and game footage I've watched over the years, this looks like deja vu.

Just think, we got Jimmy G thanks to Pats, if it wasn't for their generosity we could be living with Cousins! You like that!?!
Imagine how good he'll be next year

There was a stat shown about Jimmy last night, not sure if its true, but it said something about Jimmy G having the least amount of distance by yards when he throws it before someone catches it. It also showed that we were #1 in yards after catch. Did anyone see that?

First post in a while, yes, the stat was true. Lowest or bottom 5 in air yards per pass but most YAC in the league. Curious what ATL stats we're in year 1 and 2 at this point. Even with Julio.

We throw a lot of slants, WR screens, shuffle passes, etc. I have no stats to back it up, just a feeling but I believe that plays into the numbers.

First full year as a starting QB and he gets the #1 seed.

That is just a fluke. Some of his passes were 3/16s of an inch off the mark

So does a player named Kittle.

I think this is an UGLY play and hope that the team to never use it again... this is one of those play where he gets into trouble when the initial target is covered.. We're lucky that there was NO zone blitz or else...
'Sports Analyst' is not really a job. It's just opinions by a bunch of folks sitting together, there is no real science to it.
Sometimes ppl listen to the same thing from a few folks and think it's true (or false).

Stats show that he wins games consistently. His passer rating is > 100. For all the accolades, Rodgers and Brees have one SB. In his first full season, he has shown a lot of maturity and consistency. If you give him a top WR, I think he will excel even further (again, just an opinion).
This guy is good, and will get better with time. I just hope this team can keep Kittle and players like Sanders and Samuel.

Any play can be an "ugly" play if incorrectly timed or incorrectly executed.

This is an example of both correct execution and timing. There's a reason Kyle Shanahan is an NFL Headcoach and we aren't
I have one question: HOW BOUT THAT SAMPLE SIZE??? Jimmy Gangsta has shown all of the "experts" that his sample size was a clue to what he was going to do in this league. I've never heard such poppycock in my life (from my days in England). It's as if people don't believe in progression. Now, let the naysayers say what they will until the Niners are hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. And a special shoutout to Keyshawn...F#&K YOU!!!
