Sometimes ppl listen to the same thing from a few folks and think it's true (or false).

Stats show that he wins games consistently. His passer rating is > 100. For all the accolades, Rodgers and Brees have one SB. In his first full season, he has shown a lot of maturity and consistency. If you give him a top WR, I think he will excel even further (again, just an opinion).
This guy is good, and will get better with time. I just hope this team can keep Kittle and players like Sanders and Samuel.

Jimmy got just as many rings as Rodgers and brees combined, with a lot less effort too

Keep up this type of play in the playoffs Jimmy G!

I think this is an UGLY play and hope that the team to never use it again... this is one of those play where he gets into trouble when the initial target is covered.. We're lucky that there was NO zone blitz or else...

I think you should just stick to nicknames.

There was a stat shown about Jimmy last night, not sure if its true, but it said something about Jimmy G having the least amount of distance by yards when he throws it before someone catches it. It also showed that we were #1 in yards after catch. Did anyone see that?

First post in a while, yes, the stat was true. Lowest or bottom 5 in air yards per pass but most YAC in the league. Curious what ATL stats we're in year 1 and 2 at this point. Even with Julio.

We throw a lot of slants, WR screens, shuffle passes, etc. I have no stats to back it up, just a feeling but I believe that plays into the numbers.

So does a player named Kittle.

He is second worst. Worst is Drew Brees, says a lot about the head coaches.

We got ourselves a bonafide elite QB folks - there should be no doubt anymore.

Need a lil more consistency before I go that route. A mistake-free, productive postseason would go a long way. Otherwise,...he'll have to do the convincing next year.

He's like 21-5 overall as a starter. Has an elite arm, elite release and an elite football mind. He threw 27 td's in a run first scheme. Would have had 45 on Seattle.
Nobody is mistake free. Your confused

Also, let's not forget that the only real reason Shanahan went run heavy the first half of the season was to ease Jimmy back in after his injury. Now that he's back, and next year, we'll can expect a lot more of what Shanahan has done in the past with Atlanta and his two years here with his pass/run splits. His ratio is generally is 60:40 pass to run, so it's to be expected that Jimmy's numbers in the air will be a lot higher next year, as will his passing TDs.

... it's called a run-pass option play bro. It's a quick read by the qb to either hand it off or hit the quick slant over the middle.

Yeah we do a lot of the horizontal field stretching, but Not so much of the vertical field stretching. Just enough to force the deep defender to respect it.

And those passes to the flat off plsy action really kill the yards thrown avg. Throw in very few deep shots that balloon the avg and you have a low avg.
Jimmy G,

100% WIN RATE in....
