How much cap space and draft picks can get the 49ers get for Jimmy? The team depth and future are at stake. If Jimmy is the QB so be it, but I want him focusing on football, not porn stars. I don't want to have to call him Jimmy Grope-a-ho-low.

Is this Stephen A Smith?

I don't mean to be rude...or I do...but you guys are morons if you want to trade a franchise QB and have someone else come in, take 2-3 years to learn Shanny's system, and effectively close our current championship window.

Enjoy the ride with Jimmy G. He just might be awesome.

Last I checked that wasn't 3 points on a neutral field with no weather concerns. Not surprising that Bill shut them down...I'm sure you were predicting the Pats scary D will hold the Rams to 3 points.

You keep moving the goal posts on your argument. First it was different rules, now it's a complete outlier game which wasn't even as bad as they played in the SB.

Fact is the rest of the year doesn't matter in the SB. This game made that very clear because unfortunately the KC defense ended up playing better than ours. Obviously the officiating or lack there of hurt us in that regard.

I'm not moving the goal post at all. Of course I'm talking about today's football and not if the game were played in 1960. You bringing up stuff that happened long ago is moving the goal post. It's a fact offense has gotten easier and easier over time. It's a fact that 10 point 4th quarter comebacks very rarely happened and now happen left and right. You want to talk last season well the top 4 teams were 1, 2, 3, and 4 in offense with the AFC title game having a 20+ point defecit being erased. So what if 1 game was defensive based as a mediocre qb floundered. That ain't Patrick Mahomes. Facts are we scored 0 in the 4th and predictably lost. That will happen most of the time now.

I gave you numerous examples where what happened in the regular season didn't matter in the SB. It doesn't matter when it happened.

Pats in 2007 never only scored 14 points until they did in the SB and lost the game.

Broncos in 2013 never only scored 8 points until they did in the SB and lost the game.

Rams just last year never only scored 3 points until they did in the SB and lost the game.

Your point was that the offense failed because KC never scored less than 20 before that game and the defense did their job. How does that work?

We had a terrific defense but it broke down in the end of the game. Part of it is because the officials screwed us over but for like 85% of the game they managed to hold KC to 10 points. Yet they failed in those last moments just like Jimmy failed on offense...but somehow you and others want to put all the blame on Jimmy and pretend the defense shouldn't shoulder any blame just because KC scored a lot of points normally.

Rams last year had more points scored than KC did this season. Hell that Rams team won a shootout vs KC that gave the NFL a huge hard on. Yet somehow the Pats who had a much less talented defense last season to ours or KC D from this season somehow offense has to put up a ton to win these days?

Sorry...as I said there is blame to go around across the board. Jimmy gets his share of it but SOLELY? No friggin way.

Your troll game is weak.

Really? Seriously?

Dude.

Other than that ONE highly publicized dinner, how many times have you seen him out on a date with ANYONE. Every guy asked on the team will tell you he works his a$$ off and leads by example. The only place where this is an issue is by fans who aren't paying attention and media hosts who are looking for a hot take.

Stick around, Marvin. It's going to be a fun offseason.
Jimmy Grope-a-ho-low. Awesome. Can't wait for more of these.

You can hide behind Jared Goff sucking all you want (btw how did he fare this year, He's an avg qb) but this is Kansas City. They have the previous year's MVP, Hill, Kelce, Watkins. They're by far and away a better passing team than LA. Which is what it takes to pull that magic off. No one is saying Trent Dilfer 2.0 is going to beat the Niners in Jan just because It's 2020. Mahomes and their weapons will and they did.

20 seconds before that the commentators where getting stuck into Mahomes about the bad game he had that night.

I wonder if Chief's fans would be screaming that Mahomes get traded to the Pats for Brady if he didn't land that throw and they lost the game?

The defense let KS score 21 points in 6 minutes in the final quarter and people blame Jimmy when the O Line was letting him be smashed by rushers just as he was about throw and 95 got his hand to 3 off Jimmy's passes. Seriously some people just speak out of their behinds because they just cant hear what they are saying out loud.

dont think it was 3 batted passes, believe it was 2.

but regardless, both of which were during key critical moments. which is what sucked. 3 lineman in front of the guy and they couldnt stop him from batting down a pass

There were two that were very obvious. There was another where 95 got a finger to it and a slight deflection making it miss the receiver.

yea that was earlier in the game though. 4th quarter only i refer to

those are all the things that make Jimmy the best QB we've had since Steve Young

The Rams was simply to point out the massive hole in your "lately it's all about the offense" idea.

Broncos taking a big ol sh*t during their record setting season with all their weapon or the Pats with their record setting season and firepower was to point out that it doesn't matter what a dominant offense does during the season...it matters what happens in that one game.

In that one game we held that Chiefs D to 10 points and then in the same time frame you and others are putting the loss squarely on the shoulders of Garoppolo the defense gave up 21 points, even if you want to take off the extra 7 points(something that's not happening to Jimmy for the extra pick he threw after that TD)

That's why the idea that we lost the game just cuz of Jimmy is absurd. The defense didn't play well the full game. The offense didn't play well the full game. You can say the offense underachieved more but somehow completely ignoring that the defense gave up a 10 point lead and collapsed at the end is disingenuous.

The play where it looked like a near pick to Bourne I think was tipped by Jones. He had 3 tipped passes in the 4th quarter and was KC's MVP imo.

The fact that we allowed one guy to beat us like that is infuriating.

Agreed, people are bat s**t crazy. First full year as a starter and he shinned in some big games, played smart and efficient enough to get us to the Super Bowl. When our defense decided to disappear around mid-season he showed up and right the ship. Super Bowl he wasn't perfect but I swear the dude had a damn concussion. Best QB play we have had in a long LONG time, and people want to trade him.

smh, but I do like the nickname.
