Draft a young understudy with a bazooka for an arm and we can easily compete yearly with a much larger repetitive window

Agree.

You forgot to mention all the positive quarters he had all season. Hence the empirical basis for our optimism.

I'll raise you one and say he had a bad last 7 minutes of the last qtr, which immediately followed a helmet to helmet while his head was on the ground. And then we all saw him grab his helmet like someone had just hit him with a 16 pound hammer. He was different after that, and played unlike he had before. And his post game interview came out like a guy who had had a blow to the head....aka CTE . His post game interview was not the JG we all know.

As for bringing Brady here, put me down with the NO group. We got our FR QB and i am delighted...no make that ecstatic he is here. Just been waiting 22 yrs for him to arrive and now that he is here, we keep him. Don't want to wait another 22 yrs. For the detractors he came so close...and yet you want to look for another FR QB? Zowie. That is truly hard to believe.

This, franchise QBs don't exactly grow on trees. You cant simply pluck one like a piece of fruit from the draft and call it a day. Jimmy is here to stay, so the detractors need to get used to it. The idea of swapping him out for a washed up version of Brady is the most absurd thing I've ever heard from the media and the people supporting the idea. Jimmy has the potential to be elite, and personally I think he will get there. He'll spend the offseason working hard to improve with a sour taste in his mouth from the SB as added motivation.

I don't follow things in here so close, but yes. There are a bunch of people that want Brady. There are a bunch of people that want Jimmy gone. It's all quite silly.

Yeah, there are a few in here that want what the media is pushing for Brady to come here and to send Jimmy back to NE. Lol

I hope Shanahan and Jimmy curb stomp the league next year. So sick of the media narratives.

I think they will. I also expect to see more passing next season, and his numbers will be great. Our pass/run ratio will probably be 55/45 or something like that, I'm basing that off Shanahan's history with his ratios prior to this past season.

I figured after the SB it would be like this. It is pretty silly I agree.

Lets hope so. I think Jimmy and Kyle will kick ass next year. They're pissed.

Well Jimmy had one bad throw. Our O Line had a bad 4th quarter and thought it was a swinging gate letting all the rushing bulls in. It is clear on the film what happened and it certainly wasn't Jimmy playing badly. People forget the clutch throws to Bourne in the last 10 minutes. What QB is going to do anything when he is about to be smashed by linebackers and DTs breaking threw running at him at full speed within a second of the snap?

Enough with this nonsense about Jimmy having a bad 4th quarter. How about laying blame where it should be laid... the interior O Line particularly our replacement centre.

If you watch the 2 min drive when we were down by 4, our first play was a run up the middle for a first down. We should've kept running. Especially bc they were blitzing up the middle. The zone run is made for beating the up the middle blitzes.

That is on Kyle. Not of Jimmy. Jimmy doesn't get the choice on the play.

As far as I could see Mostert was still penetrating with his running.

They were stacking the box - but, I agree we should kept on running the ball.
