Party pooper
Hey NY Niner... Hate to say it but man I love being right... I told you... No Kirk cousins for us , one way or another

Clears the way for Barkley

Yep which means we don't need to beat out the Browns.

I hope Barkley is not another Kijana

I doubt it but always be wary. I agree

Don't forget Cedric Benson
All things considered this is a wise gamble.

Thank you for not breaking the bank on Cousins, I was not a fan for that move. Agree with others this could be Cassell 2.0 but almost every QB you pick is a calculated risk so at least the front office is firing off shots. Imo, Lynch has done more good for the team in 8-9 months than Baalke did his entire tenure.

We still have 2 pay Jimmy top dollar lol

If JG plays well this year he will cost more than KC. JG has all the leverage in that scenario.

He got dropped into the ground by a large man....OL play had nothing to do with it. Same injury happened to Alex Smith back in the day. He's been pretty healthy ever since.

Pretty easy to stay healthy while sitting on the bench. That being said, there's no basis to call him injury prone from one injury.

agreed on Baalke, got way to much credit for his drafts. As for Jimmy G, all the so called d"experts" really like the dude... not so sure how I feel about this.

Literally the only thing Garoppolo and Cassel have in common is that both played for New England. Cassel never started in college and was a 7th rounder. Garoppolo went in the 2nd round out of a small school and was simply a far better prospect in everyway.

At least try a Kevin Kolb comparison or something, citing Cassel is just plain lazy and you're better than that.

He's a UFA after this season so wonder if that means he signs a contract also

Doubt we made this trade without already being in talks with his agent

You bet,otherwise it makes no sense,that`s a high draft pick 2nd round...YEAH!

Well now things get interesting. Watch the Pats sign Hoyer to be their #2.
they are going to sign Kaep

Tom Brady backups have never had success anywhere else. Plus, he is a FA, so we are going to have to throw a big deal at a guy who hasn't played but like 3 games....who we could have just tried to get in FA anyway. I don't know about this.

JG was the highest drafted QB the Pats had since Drew Bledsoe....he's not a Matt Cassel or Ryan Mallett. He played very well when Brady was out with an offense which wasn't super healthy. As long as we let him get comfortable with the offense and not throw him out there behind this horrid OL to kill him he's got a legit chance to play very well.

Franchise QBs always have the leverage. That's why even slightly above average QBs routinely receive record setting new contracts.

The only thing with Jimmy G is injury in his only playing time starting for Tom Brady suspension he was injured by week 2
Lynch and Shanahan stepped up and made a good deal. Why was the cost relatively cheap, a second rounder.
