I don't hate Jimmy.. He seems like a cool person. Seemed to be a natural with the ball... seemed to know how to quickly get rid of the ball, while turning to protect himself from a defender. Seemed accurate. Just mobile enough to buy time to get a throw off... or run for the first down.

Almost seemed the perfect QB in 2017.

But something has been wrong with him for a while now.. many have been in denial about it. Consistent arm strength or mechanics or what ever, it doesn't seem like it can be fixed.

That being said I can't see Kyle letting him go... especially if there is no backup plan that makes Kyle comfortable.

So predictions out of my ass..

Kyle trades for Cousins or Ryan next year

Kyle objects to getting rid of Jimmy and wants to be with him no matter what.. waiting and wanting to be there when Jimmy comes out of his coma... so much so, will ask for his release to join Jimmy in New England to replace Belichick

I'll take Matt Ryan on a restructured vet deal for 2021, provided they also draft a QB that is meant to be the future. Knows the offense, and Ryan's age means he won't expect to be a 10-year starter and will accept a rookie QB being in the wings.

This bum cost me some money today. Serves me right to gamble on a QB I dislike and think is trash but no I did not think he would play so bad as to undermine the entire team against one of the worst defenses in the league. Bum ass QB.

Why aim so low. I am sure if they offer 5 first round picks Patrick Mahomes could be had.

QBs always get pushed up. I'll say no and win that bet.

Same s**t happened to us last year. They came into the game against us last with a pass rush everyone said was garbage and suddenly we couldn't pass block for hell. Don't know why we keep making their trash D look good.

But to be fair Jimmy missed guys with no pressure. Just off today.

Stop the run and this offense goes nowhere. Jimmy doesn't put fear in a secondary at all.

If only the 49ers had a better QB, They would of only pressured on 3 of 20 dropbacks.

He looked to be pressured a lot. Seattle was blitzing and daring him to throw.

In before NY85, Hoov and that 9ers dude.

That's not what happened?

He had a 10 yard window but instead he threw it directly to a Seahawk player. If he was reading the play it should've been a td.

But you're not drafting a faceless QB. You need someone that is THE QB. Otherwise you talk yourself into drafting a mediocre prospect just because you need one. Doing that you wind up with a Paxton Lynch, a Josh Rosen, a Dwayne Haskins, a Teddy Bridgewater or an EJ Manuel. QB's are not a commodity.

Hard to be a gunslinger when your ankle is jacked. Just the difference in movement between Mullens and Garoppolo was like night and day. He's not right physically and he needs to sit until he is. Shanahan's put work into trying to gameplan around the injury but it got exposed today.

he simply cannot be relied on for the rest of the season. cannot trust his ankle to hold up to the rest of the way. Jimmy is just going to hold himself back and the team if he tries to play. ugh.
