Yep, and where did he get drafted despite being raw?

I think we should draft the next Tom Brady in the the 7th round

They're not even remotely comparable beyond being smaller white QB's that came from the NW. Wilson has an arm that is pretty damn good to go along with outstanding deep passing accuracy. Browning had a noodle.

One of the biggest improvements in Wilson's game is his deep touch abilities. After shoulder and thumb injuries as a sophomore, his overall arm strength was negatively affected. In my original assessment, I thought Wilson had a very average arm and lacked a lot of pop, specifically on downfield throws. Many of his attempts hung in the air too long and the bottom often fell out of it, which left passes falling short frequently. Now Wilson's healthy, and there's more urgency and life behind his throws, especially on those deep balls. Not only does his arm look more lively, but Wilson displays more confidence as well.

Just because you think so doesnt mean its not true.

What would be the point in drafting a new QB before we fix the Oline up? Again today it was letting people threw and both Jimmy and Nick were getting smashed. No QB is going to last long before getting broke with out Oline. Jimmy should have been out for at least 6-8 weeks to heal properly but Kyle took the risk and now Jimmy is going to be out when we need him most. Our Oline is a QB destroyer.

They do need an answer at C, but at this point they also need a QB that has some level of escapability from the pocket. Just enough of a threat to change the point of attack and buy that extra half second of hesitation/confusion from pass rushers. Jimmy use to be able to do that with his quick release instead of any pocket waggle, but now that seems to be mostly gone, and teams with the right blitz personnel are just eating him up because he will always be at the location they expect him to be in that pocket.

His arm is well above average and his height means nothing at his point considering how many smaller QB's have been able to have success.

Wilson is 5-11 204lbs

Sure it is. I'm not even the biggest fan of Wilson but he's got legit top notch talent and ability. Every team now is interested in a guy with some good mobility that can throw darts from an uneven platform and hit the deep ball, that is why most have him as a 1st round prospect. If you watch him play and don't believe that his talent is first round worthy, I don't know what to tell you.

It was gone at the beginning of last year but started to come back at times last season. This year there was a glimpse in the two games before todays but he has not been given enough time for the ankle to heal. I have done an ankle before ie high ankle sprain. All can seem good and then it lets go again. The healing is tricky and I am not so surprised it is playing up again going to a colder Northern climate. They bought him back too soon and are now paying the price. It was always a risky move with a bad Oline.

Don't hate him, just don't think he's the QB we need to get over the hump.

Don't know what the answer is, but I don't think Jimmy is it.
