Don't hate him, just don't think he's the QB we need to get over the hump.

Don't know what the answer is, but I don't think Jimmy is it.

He was less than a year ago. What has changed other then he has an ankle injury that hasn't healed yet.

I think for a lot of people is they had that little feeling that Jimmy was the QB the media kept saying he was. Some guy who is getting carried by his D and run game. Not a guy who will be able to put the team on his back and carry the O and Kyle just calls plays that Jimmy can't F up. But being fans of the team we said the media was dumb and Jimmy is better than they think. Now Jimmy is proving them right and in turn making fans look wrong

Ive always had his back and went to bat all week for him but it's getting harder by the throw. It's getting harder to excuse some really poor throws and lack of any sort of aggression.
Jimmy looked horrible today before he reaggravated the ankle injury. People blaming his performance today on the ankle are being disingenuous. He was fine for an overwhelming majority of the time he was in there.
Why wasn't the ankle bothering him the last two games? Does it only bother him when he plays like crap?

It's not like we haven't seen him make absolutely head scratching throws the last 2 years. We were good enough to overcome them before, now we can't.
Dependability is poor

Doesn't make sense - he looked horrible, then you say he was fine majority of the time. Which one is it?

I don't hate any player. I wanted to see more from him this season, and now that we are 8 games in things are not looking good at him showing enough for me to be confident that he is the guy that can get into that extra "great QB" gear. Which, in the NFL of 2020, just doesn't get it done. You need a QB that can overcome terrible defense and terrible OL to give the team a chance in any game. That's just the way it is now. Either you have one of those 4-5 QBs and win SBs, or you don't. A few teams have been lucky to get their QB who is not that to be that at the right time (Foles in 2017, Flacco in 2012), but that was unreliable kismet.

Jimmy G, at this moment right now, isn't a QB that can win you a SB. Will he be in 2021? Current indication is heavily on the "no" side. So to paraphrase Red from Shawshank Redemption, time to get busy trying another QB in 2021, unless a Jimmy G miracle happens in the last six games of the season (assuming he misses the next two).

They're not even remotely comparable beyond being smaller white QB's that came from the NW. Wilson has an arm that is pretty damn good to go along with outstanding deep passing accuracy. Browning had a noodle.

One of the biggest improvements in Wilson's game is his deep touch abilities. After shoulder and thumb injuries as a sophomore, his overall arm strength was negatively affected. In my original assessment, I thought Wilson had a very average arm and lacked a lot of pop, specifically on downfield throws. Many of his attempts hung in the air too long and the bottom often fell out of it, which left passes falling short frequently. Now Wilson's healthy, and there's more urgency and life behind his throws, especially on those deep balls. Not only does his arm look more lively, but Wilson displays more confidence as well.

Just because you think so doesnt mean its not true.

LOL Talk about insightful...
