The good thing about getting him now is that Kyle can get a legit look at him this season...
So if for some reason he has any doubts about Jimmy long term, Kyle can still let Jimmy go in free agency...if Cousins still wants to come here. And give a nig contract to someone more proven. Also gets to see Cousins the rest of this season.
If Cousins looks bad this season , or Kyle has second thoughts. And Jimmy looks iffy... Kyle could franchise tag Jimmy to give him more time and still draft a QB.
All along the way CJ needs to look at this as motivation and show what he's really made of....all he has to do is continue to improve his weaknesses and always be ready.
Must be hard being CJ now... you get your ass kicked these past few weeks for the team... with everyone kissing your ass, asking about your fam and what you did as a kid... then BAM! No one gives a s**t anymore about your Granpa/Taylor Swift/Country Singing Bro. Jimmy Brady 2.0 is here.....That's football.

They should unretire 12. The was average and most fans don't even know who he is lol. I feel like almost all numbers should be unretired after a certain amount of years.
