This, this and this! If refs called the SB fairly, a lot of you would be rocking those Jimmy jerseys weekly. We are a spoiled fan base because of our history and our expectations are unrealistic at times. Jimmy might not have the sexiest numbers but he wins and that is all we need. Fantasy football has ruined a lot of football fans. Change my mind.
Don't start blowing the playoff or SB horn because we beat a Rams team that's inconsistent. We beat them earlier in the year and went on to lose games afterward. This is not a SB team. If they couldn't win last year when they had a much healthier team they sure as hell aren't winning this year. This win today hurt the Rams chances of winning the division but it helped Seattle. I don't know how I feel about it. A win over the Rams is always nice but all it really does is give us a poorer draft position.

I miss Jimmy, Mullens doesn't have it
This team has a deep roster and incredible run after the catch guys. Mullens is not the answer but is tough as hell. If Garoppolo were getting hit like Mullens has he'd have broke into a hundred pieces. Garoppolo is the better QB on the roster though but a lot of guys can win with this roster when healthy.

Alex Smith throws. That is the measuring stick at this point. SMFH.

Might be time to have your father checked out.

I know right. Completely wrong. Smith is the worst check down qb in the history of the nfl. Throwing to a 3rd down back like McKissick 14 times in a game was hilarious. Jimmy is more accurate and has a stronger arm for sure. Maybe with his high ankle sprain Alex has more "zip" but that's due to injury only

If you watched that game, and if you listened to Aikman and Buck, Dallas was doubling both outside receivers, that left Dallas "with no answer for the WFT running backs" on passing plays.

You take what the defense gives you and play the clock. It is called complementary football. It doesn't take a big arm to do it but it does take understanding and patience. As to Jimmy, he needs to get on the field with legit outside talent and then maybe we will know how strong/weak his arm really is.

+1
Mullens won with key pieces finally back which is the argument made for Garoppolo all the time and people are dying to have Garoppolo back. LOL.

Mullens sucks. Stop it. It's night and day between the two.

Too early to blow any horn but just cuz we didn't win the SB last year doesn't mean if we do sneak into the playoffs we have no chance.

Look how crazy this season has been for us or other teams. Things can change quickly. Nobody in the NFC is that far ahead of other teams. Saints beat us by a few scores but anyone who watched that game understands it's a different ball game if guys like Garoppolo, Kittle, Mostert, Deebo, Sherman, Richburg, Blair are out there.

We can't get Bosa back this year and he's the only guy who truly makes a difference that has no chance to be back for a playoff run. If we're healthy and play our game without critical mistakes there isn't a team in the NFC that scares me.

As far as SB(yes laughable to think that at this point but for hypothetical arguments sake)

Chiefs certainly seem destined to make their way back but Steelers may wind up with the #1 seed and who knows what can happen. Late season injuries or just crazy plays where they blow it.

Who knows what can happen.

Nobody expected the Giants to beat NE in 2007 but they snuck in and did what they had to do. We'll see what happens but yeah Buffalo game will reveal where we really stand.

Mullens was horrible and lucked out that he was only slightly less horrible than Goff. The defense carried the 49ers all game long.
