The team has won and been fun to watch with Jimmy at qb.

Kap won a ton of games too. Goff won a ton of games in LA. Dalton in Cinci. Keenum won in Min. Alex in KC etc

ya'll act like we're moving off of aaron Rogers or some s**t lol. Thank you Jimmy for one magical 2019 season, that was a special team top to bottom and a lot went right. This FO wanted better and were gonna make that happen this off season. On to bigger and better things!

So he would do it to avoid getting cut?

I am not up in arms, I am just saying it would be dumb for him to do it b3csue they aren't going to cut him.

If Lance looks legit in TC (which Jimmy would see this as well) why wouldn't he? Again he has no leverage. None

Trey has done squat. And has plenty of questions he needs to answer. Risky move taking him that can easily blow up in the teams face the same way it did with Kap

the issue is our fan base is so jaded with trash QB play for two decades that when avg starting QB play comes in we think it's f**king awesome

When healthy he's a top 10-15 QB I'd put in in the same category as a Dereck Carr, Tony Romo, Eli Manning, etc. that's more than enough for a team to compete for Super Bowls every year

Risk they had to take because Jimmy isn't it. Him already blew up in their face all the same

Lmfao they traded a 2nd round pick for him and in return they got relevance and a super bowl appearance.

Or they spent $100M on a QB who's played one full season and played on a roster than could have had about 15 + other QBs get them to the SB all the same, guess it's all how you want to look at it.

No they do actually they gave up yrs of 1sts to move off Jimmy, they tried to trade for other vet QBs and bring in other bridge QBs…it's cool keep pretending that s**t didn't happen. Jimmy is gone in a yr tips for a reason.

Do you think they spent 3 first round picks on Trey Lance to replace Nick Mullens and CJ Beathard? They don't want Jimmy and it's not just injury related. Teams don't move on from a QB if they believe he's a top 10 QB, even if they have missed 2 of the last 3 seasons.

Lol you'll say anything to not give Jimmy his due credit for that season.whatever you can say to push your "hes a noodle armed statue" agenda. Yeah the injuries suck no doubt , if Jimmy actually played those seasons the Niners are at worse a Wildcard team, but we also wouldn't of gotten Nick Bosa so it is what it is I guess

So why did the Colts move on from Peyton Manning after he missed 1 full season? The Jimmy injuries have been a death sentence to the team every time, watching the Niners without Jimmy is an exhausting chore. I don't blame them for trying to move on, just wish it wasn't Trey Lance

Look at 3rd down conversion rates, then check the standings for that year.

I'm concerned with this year, not that year. And the evidence shows that our team's 3rd down percentage 2 years ago does not indicate in any way, shape, or form that we have a good QB in Jimmy (for this year, because that's the context). If you want to know why, someone can translate all those words for you, but it's all there.
