-He comes back strong time and time again after throwing an INT and helps this team regain momentum (vs. going the other way & a blowout happens)
-He's shown to pick up his game with this team's D is not playing well and giving up a lot of points
-Helping lead this team to 7 late 4th Qtr. come-from-behind victories (things were definitely "muddled" there...he didn't panic)

Stop posting these good qualities about Jimmy. It was the D, running game and coach. But but but Jimmy had had "some" of his players available at some capacity at one time or another. Totally laughable. Some people can't give credit where credit is due. By next year the denial and constantly moving the goalposts will all be a thing of the past and we can all just focus on Trey.

I think Trey will win us at least 2 SBs in the next 10 years and SF will be back on top as it should be.

Will he clean it up this year? He should be able to with the additions to the OL (more time to throw)

He tends to do it in every game, that's often. Or do you mean multiple times in a game? Yeah hopefully it gets cleaned up, I think the Mack signing in itself will be huge compared to the s**t show circus gymnastics we've had at C
often in a game like Mulens did last year. Jimmy was good enough where our defense didn't have to win games like it did in 2011

You don't think our defense had to win the game against Pittsburgh when the offense turned the ball over five times? Or against the Rams in week 5 when the offense averaged under 4 yards a play? Or against Washington when they put up 9 points? Or in the second game against the Cardinals when Jimmy threw a pick with about 4 minutes left in the game? Or in the playoffs against Minnesota when our passing offense was struggling badly? The defense had to carry the team in a lot of games in 2019.

A huge understatement right there mah braddah!! Mack's signing imo is the key to success for this offense this year. Well, and health ofcourse. 🤙
Tw LT Mack Brun Mcg

and there's some depth

if MM can get his s**t together, then we have some exciting times ahead of us

Agreed, elguapo - totally laughable.

Whoa, whoa, AllTheTime...I have a good feeling about Banks coming right in and being that stout yet athletic, talented RG. Brunskill will definitely have something to say about it...competition is always good!

I'm just glad Jimmy will finally have 2 good wrs on the field for once while also having good IOL pass pro. It's a wet dream for him.....or Trey (but then again that is if our team doesn't get decimated with injuries like the last 8 years) at least we have 2 starting qbs and great depth on the OL.

too bad at DE and CB we don't but at least our offense will be too 5 again playoffs for sure this year

Lol I just anointed him due to vet status. Banks looks good but feel OL are like wine. Get better with time

Brunskill is such a great backup. He can backup every position on the OL. He did quite well at LT and RT, above average at guard and center (especially vs the Rams )

Good point about OLs getting better with time. Unless your name is one Quenton Nelson.

But if you give credit, don't you have to remain consistent? If you are going to minimize the effects in some games, shouldn't you have to minimize the effects in all games? Hence, doesn't it follow, that the Super Bowl collapse is a result of Jimmy's atrocious 4th quarter performance, as opposed to the team going away from the run game, the defense giving up multiple conversions, the offensive line forgetting how to block Chris Jones, etc.?

Very consistent of course. We all know the reasons for the SB collapse

Brunskill is an upgraded version of Adam Snyder. He's good enough to compete for a starting gig but a great depth player overall. A must have player on the roster.

Not triggered at all Zero,...just enjoying the offseason and looking ahead to a much-improved QB room.

Agreed. I expect Jimmy to show much improvement.

Couldn't agree more and glad the versatile Brunskill is on this roster.

I'm not sure any coach outside of Sean Payton is gonna choose to throw the ball more when your team is averaging 7+ yards per carry.

Please see post #52579. I have addressed this many times. Your post sounds correct in theory, but it is absolutely false in reality.
