#49ers Kyle Shanahan confirmed the team did indeed look into #Lions QB Matthew Stafford but didn't make an official offer.

The team also looked into #Texans QB Deshaun Watson.

go listen to kyle when asked on the Peter Schrager pod a couple weeks ago…he laid it all out there like he always does. Again if you refuse to believe they were legit interested in him because your feelings towards Stafford…that's a you problem. Move on.

I heard some kids (20 something year olds) talking about the decision to start JG until Lance learns the playbook. One of them said "how hard is it to learn how to handoff a jet sweep to Deebo, or throw a drag route to Kittle?"

This was while in line at Costco, I was almost in tears laughing so hard.

saw this a couple of mins ago too.

I'll believe Jimmy Garoppolo will be on the 49ers this year when he's suited up for Week 1. Until then, not buying it.

Dealing multiple firsts to trade up for a QB only to pay another QB $25 million you don't need to pay him just doesn't make sense.

Trey doesn't have to be completely lost in order for Jimmy to still offer the best chance of winning games.

Trey could have an equal grasp of the playbook and STILL not offer the best chance of winning games.
