a49erfan77,...you claimed that Jimmy would be cut at the start of the 2021 calendar year. You see how easy it is to baselessly make something up?

Well,..we're pretty much out of playoff contention as this season's a wash.

Finally seeing the writing on the wall probably mentally moved on to Jimmy's hopeful replacement: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU

This was my opinion as the season closed. I was 1 spot away,..actually. Aside from that, we discussed:

1) jonnydel's forecast of Jimmy as a Top 6 QB

2) Steven A.'s not-too-good commentary on Jimmy

3) Salary cap issues & Jimmy's contract for 2021

4) Jimmy's stats and how important gifs are when it comes to proving Jimmy is top notch

I was so mentally removed from the season's closeout that I wouldnt've cared about ankle issues. Why would players have been disappointed if the best move would've been to unload him somewhere else without a reaggrivated injury in game 15 or 16?

The pressing question about possible improvements from Jimmy G when the live bullets start flying. Will this topic be improved?

The athletic just did their annual QB rankings which was made up of.... The all-star voting panel included seven general managers, five head coaches, 11 coordinators, 15 executives, seven quarterbacks coaches and five others working in front offices or in other coaching capacities. They placed 34 veteran quarterbacks into one of five tiers, from best (Tier 1) to worst (Tier 5).

Jimmy ended up tier 3 and the 21st ranked QB on their list. Take it all with a grain of salt, but this is something a lot of people have been debating in here for like a year now
JFC I figured guys would give it a break for 5 minutes with camp starting. Same redundant arguments every day. At this point it's just arguing to be argue. Oh well I guess

Is this all time active QB or just based on last year?

Injured jimmy vs healthy jimmy , there's a difference

Not discussing injured Jimmy, though. Discussing a completely healthy Jimmy.

The tweet was from 2020, that you referenced

IDK if his eyes were injured last year. Getting happy feet and being flustered by the rush has been a problem for healthy Jimmy as well.

Do you think he's the best in the NFL in regards to footwork and connection with his 2nd and 3rd progressions? Or is there tangible room for improvement there? Asking about healthy Jimmy only.

I guess you could say he's a seasoned veteran at this point.

Jimmy should've never even started that game. he wasn't right. and alas, he never finished it.

if you're going to ask about a healthy Jimmy only, then did Brian make similar comments on him after the ARI game before he was injured? because that's more relevant and literally the only game he was 100% / 1 you cannot excuse him for with injuries

Tier 3 is generous when you're hurt 2 out of 4 years.

21st sounds about right assuming you're not taking the injuries into account and just going by his performance.
