You claimed, despite no reports to back it up, that Kyle and his teammates were upset with him because he was cleared to play the last couple weeks of the season but he refused to.

a49erfan77,...you claimed that Jimmy would be cut at the start of the 2021 calendar year. You see how easy it is to baselessly make something up?

After some research, it seems that I had you confused with another poster. Please accept my humble apology.

The athletic just did their annual QB rankings which was made up of.... The all-star voting panel included seven general managers, five head coaches, 11 coordinators, 15 executives, seven quarterbacks coaches and five others working in front offices or in other coaching capacities. They placed 34 veteran quarterbacks into one of five tiers, from best (Tier 1) to worst (Tier 5).

Jimmy ended up tier 3 and the 21st ranked QB on their list. Take it all with a grain of salt, but this is something a lot of people have been debating in here for like a year now
Is this all time active QB or just based on last year?

It's based on this upcoming year and how they value them heading into 2021…it's not based off just last yr.

I'll definitely take it with a grain of salt since they had Wentz at #11 last year and Josh Allen at #22.

Also, somebody in that group REALLY likes Jimmy. He and Big Ben were the only QBs outside of the top 10 to get a 'tier 1' vote.

Go find that random one tier 1 voter & trade him Jimmy right now! 37 tier 3 votes though…yeah that is fluid, but that's just how the league values him overall. Is what it is.

Oh and FWIW Jimmy was still in the tier 3 group after his 2019 season all the same (17th overall)

What's the trade value of a tier 3 QB with a tier 1 contract?

Two things...the last time that happened:

1. It was a harbinger of 2019 D-line dominance
2. Jimmy G snapped out of it and led us to the SB
