Jimmy is an impressive quarterback who can do great things with this team this season. I am definitely looking forward to seeing what the team is going to do.
He's not very mobile, so he's really dependent on the OL giving him time to throw in the pocket.
He's mobile, he just doesn't think about running. He learned behind Brady and under Belichick. The #1 priority taught their is to get the ball out and not run, unless you can't throw like Cam Newton.
He's the slowest starting QB in the NFL per 40 yard dash times. If you want to say he's mobile then every starting QB is.
When he first arrived here he was more consistent at extending plays with his legs in my opinion. I think his injuries has caused him to stay more stationary in the pocket.
But I also think with Trey Lance in the building we will see him use his legs more to buy time in the pocket and pick up first downs even though that's not his strength.
