The poise, diplomacy and class with how he answers and deals with the infinite TL questions is truly amazing. I would've completely lost my f**king mind by now.

He's got 26 million reasons why lol

Jimmy being a nice guy isn't helping out matters. Didn't Alex get lots of Kap related questions too?

Now imagine this happening to Rodgers......it'd be one and done.

And nobody in GB is even a threat to Rodgers. haha
Rodgers acting like it "no one told me"

I think his issue was more "Why aren't you using that 1st round pick on a weapon?" than it was "How dare you bring in this guy to replace me!?!"

People up in here joking about the very thing that tanked 2 of the last 3 years basically.

They are joking about the draft capital, not Jimmy's injury consistency / history. If the 49ers merely wanted to get someone capable of running the system when / if Jimmy gets injured, they could have stayed at 12 for Mac, or moved up for Mac (not to third overall, though). They didn't move up to the third overall pick for insurance.
Mac wasn't worth drafting at 12

Mac wasn't worth drafting in the 1st round.

Disagree. I didn't want to draft him, especially not early and really, really not after that trade. Nevertheless I think the guy will be fine in the NFL and will justify a mid 1st round pick.

This is like the 2nd time since 2000 that 5 QBs got drafted in the First round

If it wasn't a QB needy year who knows where Mac Drops to
Jimmy be ballin this year, he realizes this is a contract year for him LOL

I agree. But, that's not the point. The point is, moving up to #3 overall merely for insurance, doesn't stand up to any sort of scrutiny.
yet it is.. it's insurance this year and the future next year

This site makes me feel like I'm back in undergrad, tutoring people who have no earthly business being in college. Read what I wrote. Then, read how you responded.

Here, I'll help:

You lost me bud..

Which is why he tried to explain himself to you as he would a 4 year old but alas it didn't work

Is it just me or does Jimmy G have the football version of the "yips" or the "twisties" a la Simone Biles? He's lost his nerve throwing down the field and he's lost confidence in his decision making, so he's double clutching in the pocket. Unless he makes a major turnaround., Lance is going to take his job much sooner than expected. He's handling his business in the media, but his work on the field is not up to par.

Ask again after week 1

I think It was very noticeable week 1 against the cards. It may have been only one game, but the super bowl loss seems to have took it's toll on Jimmy. No doubt he'll have to step It up a notch this year If he Intends on remaining the starter for the duration of the season.

i mean it took a toll on the entire team to be fair. lose the SB, already a shortened offseason in itself because of that, then Covid, then an irregular/abnormal offseason, then week 1. weird.

essentially, everything that could've possibly went wrong last season, went wrong.

lmao

In 2019 he was coming off of an ACL, so mentally he had to get his confidence back.

Lol True. 2020 Is a year we'd all like to forget lol... here's to hoping 2021 will be a much better one for us Niner fans.
If Trey is better, then start him. If not, then let Jimmy start.

Trading Jimmy just seems like a waste, unless someone offers something crazy. Like a first rounder, or maybe the Colts give us DeFo back.

These past couple of years, we have seen our season get f**king ruined by s**tty backups. Why not go into the season with two good QBs? I just want to see some good football this year, ya know.

If Jimmy G doesn't win the starting job I don't see in anyway he's the back up. IMO he would be traded ASAP!!!
