yeah it'll be real interesting to see what happens next offseason if Jimmy helps this team win a championship.

That's not going to happen. You must not have seen Jimmy this preseason. He's not impressive at all.

I've heard he's a mediocre QB who's untradeable from randumb 49er fans

You also heard we needed to bring in another QB for the future, he probably hasnt prepared the way he should over the offseasons to improve over the years, and that the new kid would light a fire under his arse to get better.

If we're gonna keep score, let's be accurate with the tally.

So far, so good!

p.s.,...you were complaining you would report me to the mods, but here you are randomly namecalling. Whatever makes you feel better? Lol.

oh did you call him mediocre and untradeable?

I know you werent asking me, but think Jimmy is basically untradeable now, yes.

I made this comment after the draft that I simply do not see a market for him. Thats not to say Jimmy sucks or anything like that. But I just do not see any team that is willing to trade for him. So since you think calling Jimmy untradeable is some sort of slight on Jimmy, can you show me what kind of market you think there would be if we decided tomorrow the best course of action would be to trade him?

the untradeable comments made in the past were linked to his perceived performance

So you agree that he is untradeable at this moment, jut not for the reasons that you say people made in the past. Got it.

do you often make up stuff that people don't say and argue from the pov? lol.

as ive said over and over and over my view is that i dont think the team is interested in trading him and JG has a no trade clause anyway.
Question: Do you guys think we can beat the Seahawks or win the division with Jimmy as the starter?

I watching last years game in Seattle, and it seemed like they kinda figured him out. It wasn't until Mullens started pushing the ball that we started to gain some ground. But pushing the ball isn't our offense with Jimmy, its more horizontal than a vertical offense.

You saw how a heathy Jimmy G treated the Seahawks 2019.

If the 49ers are healthy, Hawks shouldn't stand a chance

Making stuff up? You said people were calling him untraceable because those people were saying that because of his perceived performance.

So are you saying he isn't untradeable or that he is but for reasons other than his on field performance?

Ahkello is supposedly their best CB. There star SS is a no show. Their LT is a no show. I swear if we don't sweep them imma lose it

Witherspoon will most likely turn Into the best Cb In the league when they go against us. but, yeah, I expect us to sweep them too, assuming we have no key Injuries by then.

But their offense is no joke. It'll be hard to match them offense to offense.

I don't know, watching the Seattle game last year it didn't seem like Jimmys mobility was the issue. It seemed like they just knew our offense and figured it out.

essentially keep everything in front of you and don't fall for the WR sweeps. It really hampered our offense.

Didn't the Seahawks have one of the worst offenses in the league in the 2nd half of the season? It seemed like it was their offense that teams figured out. And the last game of the season our defense losing 50% of the starters were doing a pretty good job against that offense until our team was like "Hey why are we trying to win this game"?

Our scrubs handle them all game in the 2nd meeting.

Seatlle is a has been
The 49ers should start Jimmy G. If things go downhill for whatever reason (hope not), then Lance can start.

If Lance starts, and then things go downhill for whatever reason (hope not), and then Jimmy starts, it is a mess that neither Shanahan nor Lynch can get out off.

So just for reference and worst case scenario, according to AB....say if Jimmy tears his ACL this yr and isn't medically cleared by 4/1/22, he has $7.5M in injury GTDs for 2022.

So basically we'd be paying Jimmy around $27M this yr (to not play and be hurt depending on the timeline), and only get about $18M back next yr if he's still hurt. So around $34M in total gone. That's a lot of cash money.

Just throwing that out there, because Jimmy isn't exactly Cal Ripken Jr.

im sure they've factored that hypothetical scenario into their budget ahead of time. dont worry about it.

I believe that's why JG will be the starter come week 1. I doubt Kyle wants to put took much pressure of Lance from the get go. Whether Jimmy remains the starter all season Is anybody's guess.

What DO they do in the last scenario? Literal nightmare scenario, right.

(Well actually the nightmare is them both totally sucking tiny little ant balls)
