not really. read mayo's posts.

Prove it.

what are you 12 years old? read the thread.

That's cute. Bless you.

12 year olds are known for lying.

So if anyone's 12 years old it's you.

I just went back 20 pages on both Jimmy and Lance threads and Mayo said nothing about Mahomes.

They just know in their bones that it is true and damn that Jimmy for making them wait for their dreams to be realized

this part

Hahahaha

"they just know in their bones that it is true" is referring to his own comment that posters are expecting Lance to be Mahomes.

Which is completely FALSE.

"Of course, the new wrinkle this year is that the team traded up for a a guy who some posters are already convinced, just convinced, is going to be the next Patrick Mahomes, but without the benefit of, you know, having actually seen him take more than what, six, seven snaps in the NFL. They just know in their bones that it is true and damn that Jimmy for making them wait for their dreams to be realized."

Better read thoroughly before you come at me again.

You don't see the irony of calling someone immature but yet you're calling them 12 years old because you were asked to prove something?

The only irony here is that out of that entire post the only thing you seemed to take exception to was a tongue in cheek jab at some of the fawning adulation that greeted Lance's arrival. During OTA's for example, "Oh, Lance can already read defenses better than Jimmy", Or during training camp, "By the time the season starts Lance will know the playbook as well as Jimmy". Or just before the season started, "Oh, Lance has already shown he will be an elite runner in this league". Those are all more or less direct quotes which were made without the benefit of having seen Lance take a single snap in a regular season game. As Yogi Berry allegedly use to say, "you could look it up". So yeah, I absolutely agree it's nonsense, just not for the same reason you think its nonsense.
You guys just can't help yourselves with those straw man arguments, can't you?

I didn't comment on the rest of your post because there was nothing to comment on. Just a bunch of rambling thoughts with no interesting points or ideas.

You just misunderstood. Read some articles regarding brain plasticity and come back. You'll probably be able to better understand the OP's point.

But even 80 yr olds can improve at things so I doubt that was ever said.

It wasn't. Boast is either a low IQ retard or he's a lying s**tbag.

Uncalled for, especially using the "R" word. Unreal you had to attack that way.

You're a lying < expletive delete>. That isn't what I said. I said what he's unlikely to be able to improve are things like INTUITIVE PERIPHERAL VISION. Few QBs ever improve that sort of thing anyway, and it 100% gets harder the more ingrained your reflexive instincts are due to age. As far as FOOTWORK, I SPECIFICALLY said those types of things (mechanics, reading defenses) are EXACTLY the things QBs CAN improve on as they age.

How do you live with being such a pathetic loser liar?

Geez dude. Sensitive much?
I mentioned that Jimmy is moving better in the pocket so far this year. Combined with an improved O line he hasn't been pressured as much and has been able to move away from it when he is. That's not the same as being a mobile QB who's a threat to run that defenses need to fear but at least he's not a sitting duck back there. I don't know how much more Jimmy can do with his physical skills. He's just about maximizing them now. His release is quick and his recognition of defenses is fine. His arm is adequate for what Kyle is asking him to do.

Aiyuk has every right to be bashed at this point too.

For having a hamstring injury?

How many more examples of hypocrisy in this thread do we have?!?!

Most of these JG stans are trolls tbh.. no doubt they'll switch team once he's traded.

I don't care who Kyle starts at qb, as long as he feels they are the best option. Those guys are no worse than the guys taking the opposing view. If there were a better option at quarterback , don't you think the people whose job depends on the success of the team would have him out there? It's really ridiculous when uninformed people on the outside assume they know better than the guys who get paid to make these informed decisions what is the best route to take.

Here, let me translate your response for you. "Well, the rest of the post was over my head, so I glomed on to the two sentences that had words in them I could recognize but didn't understand that they were meant as sarcasm so I responded to them as though they were serious because, well, you know it was Tuesday"..
You guys still arguing about nothing?

For my part, I'm not defending Jimmy at all. People take it that way with how I'm presenting the argument about the deep ball. I'm defending my view on the offense. I just don't see the shots there to be made. So, for examples, I'm working through the film and so I just took pics with my phone but here's 4/5 pass plays in a row that weren't screens. The 5th had no route deeper than 9 yards.

This was a dagger concept - streak is doubled. Jimmy got hit as he was throwing and this sailed too high for Aiyuk on a DIG.

Go route is triple covered

Tampa-2 coverage bracketing the fade

C-4 palms, corner is in perfect position and safety help inside as well. This was JG's worst throw, IMO. He had Sanu on the out and just missed him.

These aren't cherry picked, they're sequential - who here thinks Jimmy G should've thrown the deep ball in these situations? Anyone?

Just bumping this. I just don't see the defense not respecting our deep routes.

Only in the Webzone will you be called a troll for defending the starting QB of a winning football team.

I was rooting for the 49ers when our only 2 wins were against the Cardinals in OT and Tim Rattay broke the record for most passing yards by a Niners QB, a record that hasn't been broken to this day, Kap came close in 2013 against the Pack In week 1. So miss me with that b******t

Without attacking posters. Gee who would've known you can do that in here.
