During OTA's for example, "Oh, Lance can already read defenses better than Jimmy", Or during training camp, "By the time the season starts Lance will know the playbook as well as Jimmy". Or just before the season started, "Oh, Lance has already shown he will be an elite runner in this league". Those are all more or less direct quotes which were made without the benefit of having seen Lance take a single snap in a regular season game. As Yogi Berry allegedly use to say, "you could look it up". So yeah, I absolutely agree it's nonsense, just not for the same reason you think its nonsense.

Here is my big problem with the passing offense so far. Its all deebo. No kittle, aiyuk. Juice, etc. This is NOT what I like to see on offense. I'd like to see 6,7,8 different receivers. Spread the ball around. I don't know if this is Jimmy, Shanahan, or a little bit of both.

Actually every quote in there was said by someone in this forum. How do I know because I commented on all of them at the time they were made. Since you're the one who doubts their veracity feel free to go back and do the research but be careful about going around calling people liars just because you're too lazy to do the work and prove me wrong. As to the other the post wasn't really about Jimmy and Lance, it was about how people using the argument having an elite QB is their baseline for what they will accept out of the position is a recipe for disappointment. Sorry if you are too stupid to see the distinction between those points but I can't really make your lack of education my problem

How is anyone supposed to believe you when you already admitted you lied already? You didn't say "it's as if they believe Lance is going to be as good as Mahomes." You said they said that. Period.
