The fact He hasn't been sacked or Intercepted yet Is pretty Impressive so far. Let's hope the trend continues.

Like a city broken into different social classes, I think it would be best if each poster depending if they're pro-Jimmy or pro-Trey stay in their respective threads. This argument has been going on the moment Trey was drafted and it's not going to stop until he PROVES to be a top 5 NFL QB. The fanbases is divided

How about you leave the thread if you're unwilling to talk about Jimmy G's play…. the good and the bad.

Same for Trey.

That seems more logical to me.

That's not going to happen…

if the last 5 months isn't enough evidence for you then that's on you.

So let me get this straight…

You've admitted to trolling in the Trey thread but now you want people to stay out of the Jimmy thread because they might troll, just like you did?

Maybe it's people like YOU that should leave these threads.

stop being so barbaric.

Lol. I never knew the "golden rule" was barbaric.

"Treat others how you want to be treated"

That seems like the opposite of barbaric to me.

You've yet to do that judging by your posts

yes I like that too, hope we keep him clean and continue that type of high level play.

You report posters yet talk to them like this. You used to be a mod?

After 3 or so useless pages of back and forth that I'm sure annoy others, we've concluded that:

1. With Deebo lining up on the wrong side we're lucky it wasn't a wasted rep,... and...

2. It was a good throw by Jimmy... and..

3. It wasn't a perfectly executed play, per Deebo's admission.

You haven't moved the needle at all,... So why the excessive waste of space replying?

If I came here to read about Jimmy news and opinions I'd be frustrated too.

I think it'd be better worded if it was described as, "it was a successfully executed play, just not by the way the play was designed or intended" or something. either way, it worked out so doesn't matter. but is that a fair re-phrase to clarify your point?

Nahh.. Someone said it was great execution on the play... I said it obviously wasn't per Deebo.

That should really be the end of it. But you know,... emotions and stuff.

It is kinda funny to see grown guys (I assume? ) get so upset at how someone else sees things.

Even if I never post here again. The Trey vs Jimmy arguments aren't going to stop until Trey eventually takes the job and proves to be elite. Not that hard to realize if you've seen the thread the last 5 months btw I haven't been participating in most of these dumb arguments I usually mute them and at worst call them clowns

fyi if you wanna give me s**t for saying I'd trade Trey for a # 1 corner then look at your breathern who've called coaches and GMs liars during the summer and retired legends like Joe Staley clueless.

The problem isn't the debate between Jimmy vs Trey.

It's the lack of civil discourse.

So instead of excluding people who don't agree with you.

I'm saying we should focus on having more civil discussions.

The difference between what you did and those couple of examples was that you were clearly trolling (as you already admitted) because you were upset with what's being said about Jimmy and those examples were differences in opinion.

There is a thing called coach speak. Whether or not it was coach speak is debatable and I'm not going to say it was or wasn't. But that's not trolling.

And I don't remember anyone calling Joe Staley "clueless" but again… whatever interpretation someone had of what Joe said about Jimmy is not trolling either. Whether they were completely wrong or right… it's not.

Its crazy to me because no one discounted what Staley said as far as having intricate knowledge of Shanahan's offense as OUR coach. People were saying Staley is not incredibly educated on Shanahan's other stops, and based up on what Staley said, there is definitely reason to believe that he doesnt. No one is saying Staley is clueless or doesnt have experience in Kyle's offense. But of course, certain posters interpreted it as people were calling Staley a moron.

Well I mean, I can see what they meant. but I can also see what you're trying to say as well. The play technically was executed in being that, we moved the chains and got some big yardage. However, from an x's and o's standpoint, that was NOT how the play was designed and technically it was not executed the way it was originally drawn up.

if that makes sense. but either way, yeah. may as well move on.

can you share it in here so we have something effing worthy to talk about? Lol

Well, since I covered the entire drive I felt it inappropriate to post in here, especially with a thread devoted to the coaches film

Nahh…it's clear to everyone you were trying to shade/diminish jimmys throw/execution along with JDs analysis of the play and his accolades to jimmy. People would probably move on if you just admitted it, but your ego won't allow that.

Maybe not "clueless"….but said along the lines of "doesn't know what he's talking about"

Like I said…this has nothing to do with me, even if I stopped posting the b******t personal attacks aren't going to stop between the pro-Jimmy vs pro-Trey. There's nothing wrong with healthy debates, but I'm not sure most of the Zone is capable of doing so, as we've seen this entire summer and now 2 weeks into the season. All I'm saying is until users, including myself can stop getting into petty arguments about the most trivial discussions, and causing more division in the fanbase, they shouldnt be posting against whoever side of the argument they're not in favor of

contrary to some.. the qb thing is the very least of our concern in my opinion.. its the run game which is the best friend of a qb,, no matter who the qb is
