My only worry: 25 years old

Will be 29 when the team is winning consistently.

I wouldn't worry, the guy is in great shape.

Since when is 25 old for a QB LOL?!?!?!

Im pretty sure Steve Young was 25 when we got him.

People wanted Cousins. How old do you think he is?

How Old was Alex Smith when he hit his prime?

You gotta get them young probably at 12.

Jimmy G. and C.J. And just like that our QB position is solidified.

Finally, the QB situation is stabilized. Don't have to worry about which QB to take in the draft or sign as a FA.

I hope people realize that Carson Wentz, in his second year in the NFL will be turning 25 in 2 months.

I did not know that

Bobby Boucher was a 31 year old freshman playing for the Mud Dogs

looks like he has great pocket presence. Something that Beathard nor Hoyer had shown so far.

That release is so damn 😍😍😍

He's completed 52.7-percent of his passes for 647 yards, two touchdowns, three interceptions, and a passer rating of 65.2 on a Super Bowl team. No way to know what he'll do on a below average team like ours.

I just PRAY he's another Gannon or Plunkett and not a Matt Flyn or Scott Mitchell or Matte Cassell

Just an observation here, his WR, TE, and RB all made some very tough catches in alot of those highlights. Several of those passes were behind the target or high. But when Beathard tosses a ball slightly behind or high he is the most innacurate thrower in the league. I'm all for hoping Jimmy G is the next FQB here in SF, but guys he has less game time the CJ does at this point in his career. We just don't know and given the amount of high school players on the field for the niners right now I don't see him doing much better then anybody we have put back there yet.

Probably not as much as what Cousin's would require, but I will add to my first statement. Thank you for not acquiring Cousin's, I think he is over rated. Most other fans on here disagree with me, no problem they have the right and I have mine. JG is by no means a sure bet and has much less experience than KC but for me I like this move better than a KC one.
Hey Kirk...You like that!??

Hopefully we will go O -line with our first pick

Hah?

Garoppolo career numbers-> 67% completions, 690 yards passing, 7.3 YPA, 5 TD's, 0 INTs, 106 QB rating.

"Garoppolo has appeared in 17 games while starting two over his four seasons with New England. During that time, he has completed 67-percent of his passes for 690 yards, five touchdowns, no interceptions, and a passer rating of 106.2."

That's weird. I dunno how it got changed. I just copied from the article: http://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/110942-quarterback-jimmy-garoppolo-traded-49ers-second-round-pick/

Anyway.... STILL I just PRAY he's another Gannon or Plunkett and not a Matt Flyn or Scott Mitchell or Matte Cassell
Those look more like CJ's numbers
