Jimmy can't throw a "professional" ball 30 yards outside the sticks. The throw charts are painfully obvious. John and Kyle are literally sacrificing the season for trade value.

So Jimmy is better than Murray apparently. At home, against the Packers, Jimmy struggled but still scored "almost" game winning td against Packers starting secondary.

Murray, at home against the Packers, Murray struggled the entire game and threw the game losing interception.

I appreciate you Jimmy. I know you have your limits, but Kyle completely destroyed your career. Sorry.

I would love just once, to see a ton more 3 and 4 WR sets and just let Jimmy call the plays.

Agreed. There's so much control from Shanahan, and it was apparent when Jimmy said he just executes the plays that are called.

I don't even care how s**tty our 2-4 receivers are. I just want to see it.

And you're right about Kyle. Kyle isn't lying when he says JG isn't playing poorly. He'd know. He runs this entire offense from top to bottom. If he could run out on the field and throw it himself, he would.

A Cohn video showed up on youtube. The video is over an hour long and I didn't even get through the first five minutes. It was titled 49ers After Dark. Cohn was discussing the Patriots offering a 2nd round draft pick and 49ers turning it down.

My question is, doesn't Jimmy have a no trade clause in his contract this year? If the leaks are true and Jimmy has a no trade clause, isn't it plausible that Jimmy is still a 49er because he turned down the trade? Perhaps, he didn't want to go back to NE and not because ShanaLynch wouldn't take a 2nd rounder for him?

No bc 49ers could easily say to Jimmy - if you don't accept the trade we will cut you and no one is dumb enough to pay him $26M.

Oh don't get me wrong. Garoppolo has progressively gotten worse since first arriving.

I'm just saying I'd love to see Kyle change his stripes and call a NE-like game plan just once.

i wouldnt mind seeing jimmy come back from the dead.

Shanny needs to figure out the running game now that everyione is stacking the edge against him'.

The strange thing last week was how inconsistent Kyle's playcalling was. Initially we score on a 7 play 70 yard drive, pure Kyle. Then he switches gears , calls for passes, and our entire O shuts down. Later it revives itself later only to shut down later on.

So yes, JG has to play well, but KYle needs to call a complete game for the first time in 4 games for us to win. What is it that is happening when he just shuts down, playcalling wise? Is that when he gets away from the run game…or is it just a fade out? Whatever it is, it is herkey Jerkey playcalling and is way out of character for kyle.

Lastly, if we happen to be ahead towards EoG, (end of game), kyle seems to take a dive at this point. It is called "finishing " a game. One thing for sure. No PREVENT D to "save" a game. I hope he and Demeco have learned that by now. Also, watching the clock (altho ARodgers is not in this game), would be helpful.

Not sure where my HC went the last 4 weeks, but he seems not focused. Sure it could be all the injuries, both OL, CB, DB, DL, et al, but he also seems just so detached. I hope he is fixated on this game only and has a game plan to win it. But the off again/on again kyle? That won't win us any games. He has to be sharp thruout. And, altho i have no idea how to do it, the EoG strategy has to improve. That has cost us in a number of games since SB appearance.

hopefully our DBs have been coached up to defend passes differently than last 4 weeks where we have had 3-4 DPIs on 3 or 4 deep balls /game. Basically all were legit PIs, and all resulted in TDs, in the next few plays. The really weird thing? Half of those 12 TDs, had our DBs not interfered, would not have been completed. That is giving away 6 TDs in the last 4 weeks just on PIs, not completions. And that has to stop.

This is on Demeco, on kyle, and also on our DB coach. Defending a deep pass by trailing the WR 30-40 yds downfield and then grabbing him…that just has to stop. DB coach is on hot seat especially, Demeco same because he is DC, and kyle same because he is HC. Fix it guys. PLEASE.
Every week people predict that Jimmy is going to have a big game. Sooner or late they might be right.

So there would have been no cap hit if they would have cut him?

He playing the bears, Even if he does he playing a college team roster today
I still have a feeling this will be Jimmy's last game.

Already the excuses to bash jimmy

He loses, cut that bum. He wins, he played against a college roster.

Why can't we just hope for a win?

Because all it's doing is delaying the inevitable. Jimmy is a bottom half starter. You're not going to win anything with that type of QB unless your team is elite and you're riding a lucky streak…aka 2019.

Hes good enough to win you a few games. Enough so that you end up with a middling draft pick but not enough that you're a legit contender for an actual post season run.

Were just spinning our wheels with Jimmy. The signs have been there since 2017.
