Let's be real. It'll be rare he faces this weak of a pass rush again. Once he feels that pressure he is like a chicken with out a head in the pocket.

Could be he felt a different kind of pressure, if you catch my drift, and that made him play better.

EExactly the the opposite. His coach didn't play three card Monte this week. It was Jimmy's team and he came through. No BS no head games. Maybe that's the difference.

Hey there's no doubt that Jimmy's played on the crappy side since the Seattle game. No excuse making he just hasn't done as well as he could. I'm a big Jimmy fan and I fully admit that. Now do I blame the guy playing like he's ghosted since his head coach has publicly stated that he has no confidence in Jimmy and the franchise has treated him like a houseguest that wouldn't leave? I think none of that is really helped. And I also think that Jimmy he's the kind of guy that can put together the bread-and-butter performance that we need to beat mediocre teams. So still hoping for that. Kia Soul turnovers. The turnovers have to get pretty close to zero for us too control games the way we need to.

I was a big Jimmy fan when we first got him. Then he got hurt in 2018 but came back strong in 2019. YThen another injury. My confidence in him started waning.

It now looks to me like he isn't the guy that came here in 2017. He knows the offense better but he seems more tentative than ever. I don't know whether he's bothered by the fact that Trey is looking over his shoulder. He could be but there were a lot of his fans that said he would respond to the challenge and have a big year in 2021. He hasn't so far and I'm afraid his trade value is going down with every loss.

Unfortunately, I think Jimmy under Kyles system has been figured out. It took some time but the analysts got him, and we know it too. Some of us are hoping it's a mental thing that he suddenly snaps out of, but it appears much more than that as he's been exposed.

He can't hit a deep pass, and he doesn't throw well to the sticks and sidelines. His preference is short and over the middle. Great for the RAC yards of Deebo and Kittle, but the D can squat/bunch up the middle making it harder to run, and the corners can play man knowing Jimmy won't throw deep to the sides. Someone has posted throw patterns for JG and the stats all confirm this. Jimmy will continue to lose games while the good defenses force him to overcome his weakness. Kyle and John know this and it's why they drafted Lance who allowed us more WR sets and an unaccounted QB who can run at any time for quick yards. Jimmy is a statue that requires extra protection(extra TE) less WR sets and lately he's been holding the ball way too long.

Sneaky blaming Kyle when each and every week Kyle is scheming points up on the board that Jimmy and the rest of the offense aren't executing. It by no means is all Jimmy, but Kyle is scheming touchdowns open (exhibit A: touchdown to Aiyuk, messed up by the tight end getting owned in pass protection).

If "Jimmy and the rest of the offense aren't executing" doesn't that mean there is something wrong with the system and the coaching? If it is one or two players not executing that is different. But we all know it is more then one or two. IE pass protection and run blocking aren't optimal are they?

No because it's mostly the players. I'm not going to blame a coach for players not focusing. This is the NFL, not college. If we wanted a raw raw coach we should have kept Singletary.

Well isn't it the coaching staff's job to get the players up to speed on what they are meant to do in each play? Doesn't look like that has been working

I think it's probably fair to say it's on both parties. I don't think you can lay it all at the feet of either the players or the coaches. E.g., is it Wes' fault the WRs drop so many passes, or is it the QB's fault for poor ball placement (on some of the drops), or is it all on the WRs when the ball hits them in the hands, etc.? I think blaming any one group is too narrow a view of the problem(s).

you inspired me
Hope he plays well again next week we are going to need it
So it took a game in his hometown, vs one of the worst defenses, and everyone executing perfectly, to see a decent game from Jimmy. Not impressed.

Imagine hating a player so much on the team you "root" for, and being so negative after a much needed win. Shame

I thought the Bears were/are a top 10 D. They were just without Mack. It's the offense that's been holding them up.

Also imagine that after watching all those drops by the WR's to try to make a statement that "everyone executed perfectly".
