You said it was his highest this year. Seattle was higher.

Sorry one of the highest…kinda forgot about that game because that's when he got hurt.

He'd be playing well then do something stupid but make up for it. Now he's not playing well and he's not doing anything to make up for it. He's done.

That's you just several days ago,....just so you know.

And for the record I've said alot about Jimmy G in this thread,...but I've never gone as far as to say he's done as a QB.

Might wanna slow down on being his security guard when you just gave up on him like that,...lol. Jimmy can afford better.

Oh I'm not going to lie, I was pretty bitter myself about that game(a loss not a victory ). It's his worst game as a 9er. My emotions were up.

Well your emotions are still up, tbh.

He has a bad outing again,...and from the looks of it, you'll just give up on him again (instead of constantly diverting to other stuff ala an NC, for example)

If you quit on him just a week ago I don't think you get the right to play Jimmy police all over the board anymore. Sounds fair?
Saints get desperate this week and offer a 1st or two 2nds a la Alex Smith Shanalynch better fooking take it.

Nice game by Jimmy. Hope Sean Payton has a dream tonight about Jimmy's great performance against the Saints in 2019.

not sure how many times it needs to be said but it's not up to either of them. Jimmy has a no trade clause.

And about $15 mil in salary remaining.
Jimmy Garoppolo is the first 49ers quarterback to throw for 300+ yards and rush for two TD's in a game since Jeff Garcia against the New Orleans Saints in 2000.

Saints have about 900,000 of cap space they can't afford him.

I remember Garcia. Saw him at the stick for his first NFL start with the 9ers against Ten. Also saw Youngs last too unfortunately at Sun Devil. That was depressing. All downhill after that game.

Do you really think Jimmy would turn down a trade to NO? He knows it's nearly a lock that he's not in SF next year. Why would he not want to play in NO for Sean Payton who helped Brees have a great career? Not saying NO would make that trade since one game doesn't make a top tier QB.

His line looked pretty good yesterday. 17/28 for 322 yards with no INTs and a QB rating of100.6. The problem is he had no TD passes. If you take out that screen pass thrown behind the line that went for 83 yards his stat lne looks like this. 16/27 for 239 yards, no INTs, no TD passes and a QB rating of 88.3. Not something to get excited over.

I'm glad they got the win no matter who it was against but they still have a tough road ahead to make the playoffs.

And Brees is taking up $11.2 mil of their space in retirement. More than any player currently on their roster.

GLAD Jimmy had this game. good game for him, Shanahan, and the offense as a whole.

he had his air yards, he had his quick release, he had the short game, no turnovers, s**t he even ran it in himself. good stuff.

both sides should be happy with his performance at least for today

who's buying??

First half a was a disaster again. Jimmy throwing behind WRs, or that throw to Deebo in the endzone. They can't keep starting off so bad in the first half, not against good teams at least.

Was very happy with that deep ball though. Run game was good overall, and Deebo was just making plays out there again. That screen was all him.

But ya, nobody is buying in outside the same handful of guys.

Glad we got this win though.

oh, come on gore. DISASTER? so dramatic lol. we didn't punt 1 time or turn the ball over. receivers dropped balls like crazy. Deebo, wtf? it wasn't THAT bad. overall Jimmy and the offense executed a lot better than what we've seen lately. for sure.

One of Jimmy's best games for sure. Just keep winning Jimmy.

I like Jimmy's response here. And, I liked how he and the team responded today to adversity. They needed the win today...they needed to beat the Bears. And they did.

Now, build on this win as a team going forward this season.

yep. glad he understands.
