Nice game by Jimmy. Hope Sean Payton has a dream tonight about Jimmy's great performance against the Saints in 2019.

not sure how many times it needs to be said but it's not up to either of them. Jimmy has a no trade clause.

Assuming Jimmy waives the no trade clause - is there a good reason why he would not waive that clause? Saints have a good D are 5-2 Jameis is average at best and they have one of the top offensive play callers as head coach....

Great game for Jimmy today. Hope he can build on this moving forward.

This is the type of offensive game I was expecting on a regular basis for this team. I know Mostert and Kittle are down but a game like today is what I envisioned (if you are going to be nitpicky, no I don't mean how we had trouble scoring in the first half. I mean how we looked I'm general).

I agree. been super disappointed this season until this game. hope it continues.

WTF happened to the Bears defense? Didn't they use to be good?

bearly

Didn't have their best player and then lost their 2nd/3rd best player during the game.

This is the s**t I'm talking about!

Now I wish he would I connected on that Deebo out route the next play for the score, but Jimmy played well yesterday

i really want to see him connect with Aiyuk the same way. Aiyuk has the capability to get separation. Jimmy (maybe?) is finally showing he can connect on these kinds of shots.

This needs to happen a bit more often. I completely trust Deebo to either make a play on the ball, or prevent an INT. So worst case is an incomplete pass and that's okay. That pass though, was perfect.

remember the deep shot @ Baltimore in 2019 to Deebo? that's why I trust him too. Aiyuk though, remains to be seen.

yea great ball. Maybe if KYLE let him take a few more shots he would be more comfortable.
I come in here and ya'll are still talking air yards.

Let's talk about WHY Jimmy looked so comfortable.

For the first time in his entire 9er career, Kyle called a spread offensive game plan with the most 3 and 4 WR sets I've ever seen. Shotgun. Limited, if any PA passes with his back to the OL. Both RB's and TE's were available receivers and not staying in to help with pass protection.

In short, he just got to sit back there and pick his open receiver (his entire career outside of here in SF) including off schedule plays (2017).

With Mitchell rolling now and Hasty as the 3rd down pass catcher and Kittle potentially coming back, the only question is, "Will Kyle stay with a spread offense going forward and keep ALL of these receiving options out in routes?"

Most QBs will look comfortable when the pass rush is non-existent. It also allowed us to send the TEs and RBs
out more rather than keeping them in to block (theoretically). I think that's the more likely reason for why Jimmy looked more in control.

He still looked a little off with his accuracy through most of the first half, but I thought he had himself a solid game overall. We should keep In mind, we we're playing against an average team without their star defensive player. Let's hope Jimmy and the Offense can continue to produce like that for the rest of the season.
