I think JG was making a point out there. He was running the Trey package and doing it better than Trey to be honest. That was an absolute game for the ages. Even more impressive considering how many drops our receivers had. JG has the fire in him. Open it up and let him throw.

It's absolutely astonishing how low our fanbase's bar for QB play has become.

Not sure how many times a 49ers QB has thrown for 300 and ran for 2 TDs. To do that in your hometown, with the pressure of your job and future on the line, absolute no doubt game for the ages. 10/10 on that spike as well that was as good as Steve Young vs the Bears in the playoffs back in the day

The problem is he ran for 2 scores instead of throwing and those count less in Fantasy Football.

Nobody that is serious about fantasy football is rolling with Jimmy as their QB.

Say that to the community that gets all lathered up over air yards.

Yards are yards.

Leave the extra analysis to people that enjoy it then.

There's an utterly useless injury thread a certain poster here keeps alive. It's a rather rare site to always see on the 1st page of a sports team forum. I mean should we be looking for a new HC that will promise us a 50% reduction in ACL years or something?

Lol but rather than trying to baptize everyone in that thread into submission... I skip over it.

You should try it.
The stat I care about is 0 TO.

Keep that going and we'll be in every game.

That's probably the MAIN difference in this game, compared to the last few weeks. So even though we started off slow again... we were able to stick around, then eventually take the lead, because of not turning the ball over.

Draw your own conclusions.

That's my quarterback (sob)

What he did right there is really unfair... to the Bears defense.. it's really unfair

My conclusion is to do it more often because I trust Deebo to make a play on the ball or prevent the INT.

I think the conversation in this thread is too focused on going deep. It's more about attacking all areas of the field, and while the deep Post is one area, it's not the one that will open up the middle of the field.

I wonder what it looked like before the throw as Deebo slowed down some to adjust to the ball. That said, this amount of separation is plenty and our QBs should trust Deebo to make the play if they give him a realistic shot at it (unlike last week against the Colts).

We haven't had any of those guys HERE during Kyle's entire tenure here. Even Goodwin's speed was rarely used because he was a ghost route receiver used to free others up underneath. Once in a blue moon he'd be targeted deep on a deep post but Kyle's not drawing that up on a regular basis because that's not Goodwin's skill set.

Kyle's had 5 years to get ONE deep threat and has punted every single time for LOS separators and YAC monsters. Trey's in the house and he still didn't do it.

Are you sure that's what he wants or is that what he inherited and decided to use as an OC?

His speed wasn't used because we didn't have the QB to use his speed.

kyle has had Jimmy as his QB for most of his tenure and has formed a offense around his $100M QB. Crazy I know

LOL.

His "speed" hasn't been used anywhere else either. Odd huh? And he was Jimmy's original go-to receiver.
lol Jimmy beats the lowly bears and all of a sudden the homers thinks he's back hahahaha

You mean other areas like throws to the sidelines? Cause I'm not sure Jimmy has completed one yet…

Deebo hasn't always won these 1v1 50/50 balls. Just look at last week and the 4th Q interception. It's not really his skill set he's more of a guy who can make things happen in the open with YAC and I think that's what he was drafted for.

What team do you root for? Just curious.

That's exactly what I'm referring to. Before anyone thinks I'm moving goalposts, I'm not the one that's been harping about going deep. I'm the one that posted a Next Gen passing chart and drew a half circle over the middle of the field to highlight how the SF passing offense won't target outside the numbers. And that's because I've noticed safeties cheating towards the middle of the field and smacking Deebo Kittle as soon as they catch a pass over the short/intermediate area.

yeaaaa....I mean. If he beats the Cardinals and Rams, then sure, I'll be back on his side. Not quite there yet. They're saying its 2017 Jimmy or some s**t. Come on man.
