Lol are you guys seriously debating that Deebo has carried this offense this year? Dude has been taking those line of scrimmage dump off throws and gaining huge yards all year. Without Deebo our offense doesn't do anything this year. Kittle has been mostly blocking when he was out there, Aiyuk hasn't been catching or playing consistently and Sanu is washed up. Jimmy has been inconsistent at best and Deebo has bailed him out multiple times every week with YAC
Guys, can we stop hating on each other and get back to IAY, nitpicking 1 of the 28 passes, olive oil and the semantics around properly expressing fan enthusiasm after a win?

Let's make sure to storm Lombardi's tweet and tell him what a terrible throw this is and that he's wrong for saying it was s good play. NY even quoted it asking for this sort of consistency.

Stafford: 2477 Yards, 22 TDs, 4 INTs, 77.8 QBR
Garoppolo: 1428 Yards, 6 TDs, 4 INTs, 47.3 QBR

So Kupp's YAC yards have accounted for 15% of Stafford's total yardage, while Deebo's YAC yards have accounted for 28% of Jimmy's total yardage. That's damn near twice by weight. That means Stafford's production has been nowhere near as reliant on Kupp's YAC like Jimmy's has w/Deebo.

Stafford doesn't have to be as good as anyone thinks or whatever. He's clearly better than what we have. He's nowhere near the greatest QB ever or anything, but him and Jimmy just aren't on the same level just as this year has thus far reminded us. Hell,...he's not even fully familiar with his new team yet and it's not close. Not even worth bringing up.

Everyone but Woo should be able to admit this.

jimmy still doing ok in net value stats. Thought his chicago game would help him more. needs another couple solid performances to get back in it

Two completely different offensives and philosophies within the same system too. And the personnel is different to match both offenses (i.e. top end FB vs. multiple top end receivers)

Crazy.

You're going to get massive numbers with this (while we're the opposite). If Kyle sticks with the Bears game plan for Jimmy, you'll start to see those numbers rise most likely:
In 2018, coach Sean McVay's team used 11 personnel on an astounding 96 percent of its offensive plays. No other team finished higher than 90 percent

That said, no, there's no comparison with Jimmy Garoppolo and Matthew Stafford.

Who are you?

So weird that you drop my name like that.

Maybe ypu should get over what ever is bothering you.

Stafforsexual?

Not weird at all. You spent months telling everyone how much better Jimmy is and that Stafford is a loser.

Instead of admitting you were wrong, you throw out personal attacks.

Perfect.

Deebo had olive oil on his gloves to start the game. Fortunately, he properly expressed his unhappiness with it, turned it around and helped contribute to Garoppolo's higher IAY.

accurate enough, lol.

high and behind, should have caught it either way. like I said both things can be true...not that hard to admit that.

could've been more accurate

but it was accurate enough to be caught

hands all over in front of him and perfect accuracy

if only he could be more consistent, we wouldn't be having these convos

if only we didn't need to dissect a singular slant to death and could just move on to another play

Lol dude,... you bring up IAY once a day in this thread like popping a vitamin,...but it's everyone else going crazy over IAY and how important it is?

All we need now is 1 person to bite, then a 10 page back and forth about it, the you asking why people wanna talk about IAY as if you're over the topic.

Wash, rinse, repeat.
