Yes - Jimmy was good today. But we needed him to be great today. Today is the highest level Jimmy can possibly play. This is why - he's not worth anything close to 26M and we shouldn't have waste this year on him and rather should have focused on Lance.

Quarterbacks can't win a game by themselves. He had absolutely no help from the offense or defense.

No help? Those throws weren't catching themselves. Kittle alone had a one-handed catch on a ball thrown way in front of him. Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, and Juice all made acrobatic catches on errant throws.

Were those throws fumbling themselves too? Game ended on the 2 fumbles. Scoring points instead of giving points changes everything.

How many times has this team had to overcome early Jimmy turnovers in a game? But now that someone else turned the ball over it's impossible? 2 turnovers is not an excuse to only score 17 points.

Another injury excuse after the loss. Well, I am sure he doesn't want to go out there to face McVay's Rams next week.

Whether it's Jimmy's doing or not, the ongoing injury storyline is pretty damn entertaining @ this point.

What a bizarre thing to say. He literally put up 349 and 4 touchdowns when we won over the Saints on the road in 2019. That ended up being a 13-3 Saints team and we went into their house and won putting up 48 points. That's the highest level he had shown imo. As a starter even with this L he's earning his pay.

The word "can" involves 2021,...not 2019. Just saying.

Our time of possession sucks. Why is that? It's because we can't get Colt McCoy and James Conner off the field. No Hopkins, Murray and Chase Edmonds and we can't get off the field. We had 23 mins of possession. We should have at least 30. Imagine if our O had another 7 mins to go to work. Imagine if we had the time the Cardinals had. The Cards had almost an entire quarter of possession more than us. Our D blowing is the biggest factor in us not scoring. Hard to score without the ball.
So tired of watching him throw the ball absurdly high. He's lucky he didn't get Yuk killed. Our WR are always having to make some type of insane jump.

Both teams had 11 drives in the game, so it's not the defense's fault the offense didn't score.

We lost possession 23 mins to 37. You can downplay this as much as you want.

When you just look at drives you're counting the 1 play Kittle fumble as a "drive"

How is it the defense's fault that the offense gave the ball back after one play? The TOP has more of an impact on the defense than the offense.

Oh boy,...lol. And NC wonders why I use bold font. The word "can" involves the present/future. We have games in the future in 2021.

What someone accomplished 2 seasons ago is largely irrelevant in regards to what they can do now.

Why are you wasting your time arguing the obvious. Clearly posters just want to blame Jimmy no matter what they're watching. Don't feed them. This team is bad all over.
